Weaver has been a revelation and a huge surprise his consistency since the Holmes demotion. Way to step up and fill that role. It's made all the difference. Feel confident now when his number is called.

Holmes definitely handled this situation with the maturity and professionalism needed. He's genuinely settled into his new role with the current team first attitude and it's allowed him to be comfortable and confident enough to thrive.

Holmes wasn't the best player for the closer role clearly but I give him credit for how he's doing in this new situation with being a brige to Weaver at times.

If there was a Division Series MVP against KC it would go to Weaver and Stanton as co-MVPs. Too bad baseball doesn't have an MVP award in the Division Series.
