He is doing the same thing that Hudson deegan was doing about a year ago. He is rolling off. Brian deegan explains what Hudson and by proxy Luke are doing wrong in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NE_guewOrnE.html. Luke really needs to get better in the corners as well, especially the slow corners. If he could corner he would have dominated that beginner class.

Using your front and rear break coming into the corners will help him come into them faster and be able to stop faster also work on attack position on the bike when standing up and smooth throttle around the corner these tips will get him to the next level.

Luke is riding really well! one tip i would have is to try practicing keeping on the throttle longer into the turns. seems like he is coasting too much and not braking enough. other then that i love your videos and keep up the great work!

I think he should stay in novice. He's 100 percent getting better but still needs a bit of improvement that I think he'll only be able to get from the novice class., build his confidence in the novice let him learn the basic techniques that translate to getting faster. Jmo love the videos keep up the good work yall are killing it.

He needs to stand a lot more. Sitting in the corners is washing his front end and he’s loosing a lot of speed. If he’s gonna sit needs to be a lot further up in the tank. Also needs to stop shifting down so early. It’s a 2 stroke. Hard on the the throttle, hard on the brakes, smooth corner. Can’t rely on an engine brake not good for the bike. I know he’s young and just a kid but these are key components on becoming faster. Need to stand.
