I've seen lulu live in the park she rocked it at 76 this year if like some of what she takes her energy is amazing also she does not look her age what's the secret go girl !
Piddles me off her putting on her Glasgow accent when she feels like it but most of time speaks with English accent living in London etc most of her career
Many people change their accent depending on who they are talking too, it's so they can fit in and is a very normal human reaction. Humans are imitators, its how we learnt to talk In the first place.
Very unusual, she's shouting some higher notes, I believe she could have polyaccent syndrome, sometimes a little rough Glasgow girl then a posh London woman. Very odd .
@lindabolique72 phoney accents. One minute Scottish then American with a bit of English thrown in. Can't sing or act and continuously name drops. "Sang so many duets with David Bowie". Oh wait all disappeared. Duh
People in general are odd!!!!! People who decimate others for their idiosyncrasies seem to be the norm these days, which is very worrying, if not very odd! If a change of accent can put someone off, my goodness what ever next!
Whilst it's great to air an opinion, why shouldn't she have her family on-stage! She's not doing concerts anymore, so it's extra special. The great John martyn used to have a Scottish accent one minute, then a English the next. People change their speaking voice, it doesn't make them unauthenticated humans! Good for you Lulu, and if you change accents depending on where you are or the situation then bloody great! People change their character to suit their narrative or situation in the same way, let people be. I don't think it's the worst thing in the world to change your voice! Commenting on unnecessary things about someone's speaking voice seems well, not something that i feel would annoy me! Never mind, she can still hold a tune at her age, which many who have commented with an undercurrent of acidity probably can't do!
It was supposed to be the last song of her last ever tour so the family were celebrating with her but as all dates sold out she’s doing some more now ! 😂
