THE SYNOPSIS OF THE DANCE
Birds co-exist with men as well as the other living creatures on earth. Spirits lives in the critical thinking of men to establish harmony with the soul and body. Legends were told by men to make stories in order to satisfy the relentless desires of the mind to establish values and culture. One of the great stories is the legend of " Si Malakas at Si Maganda " when the author successfully capture the minds and hearts of the Filipino people because of it's sentimental love story and creative expression of events. While the relation continues, the Lumad Basakanon of Barangay Basak San Nicolas rejoice to celebrate life and love with free spirits through prayers to Senyor Santo Nino that biodiversity must co-exist with the culture of the Cebuanos.

last year pa lng gusto ko na tumira diyan sa cebu frendly kzi mga cebuano nong 1st time paako nakapunta diyan at nabighani ako sa ganda nla at hndi lng yan pati lugar nila nabi2ghani din ako ng dahil sa ubod ng ganda tlga . . namiz ko na malapascua,bantayan island at lalo na diyan sa lapu-lapu city sa imperial palace mz2lang paraiso pati nadin ung movendick napakasarap ng burger diyan sa cebu nmiz ko 2loy ... kya gsto ko diyan na ti2ra para mapangawasa nadin ako :)) heheeeh! mga maga2nda kasi :D

Nagbubuhat daw ng sariling bangko. Hoy! Sa inyo yan. Haha bagay sa inyo yan. Its beneficial anyways. Haha tawang tawa nman kami. Kayo nga ang buhat nang buhat e. Indeed, dinagyang's second visit to america is very successful. More to go, singapore and european countries. I wish your festival could appeal to the dot to replace dinagyang in their busy schedules.

the basic sinulog step of 2 steps forward 1 step backward works for the sinulog base category. There is no such restrictions in the free interpretation category for which lumad basakanon is dancing. Also, the two categories have their distinct drumbeats.

although my similarities sa dating performance yung entrada nila, goosebumps parin ako. grav ang Choreo talaga. who would have thought na ganito ka galing ang m,ga Pinoy when it comes to Choreo. at sino makaka isip ng ganung choreo, galing ng Lumad. Again, this is my opinon, bahala na mga tikalon diyan kung babanatan niyo nanaman ang coomment na ito. hinding hindi mangyayari na ang klaman ng comment ko eih kayo ang napagaling.

dahil ba nag.grandslam ang dinagyang sa aliwan ay magaling na ang dinagyang? among the sto.niño-based festival here in the philippines, nothing beats sinulog... as it is being held annually in the cradle of christianity in asia and the very island where the original image of the holy child stayed for 5 centuries...

History In 1967, a replica of the Santo Niño statue in Cebu was brought to Iloilo as a gift to the Parish of San Jose in Iloilo City. Devotees welcomed the image with a parade through the major streets of the city. This first parade, then confined to the parish, evolved to become the Dinagyang Festival. The task of organizing it now belongs to the city.

Palagay ko in the coming years mauuso ang concept ng mga philippine myths.hindi ko lang alam sa ibang festival pero dinagyang palang at sinulog nakita ko now sa performance.baka may mas nauna pa na festival.So far mas maganda sana pag buong story ng malakas at maganda ipinakita dito. JAjaja.otherwise ang concept dapat nito ay about birds lang, maya for example lolish.."to show the whole story of a myth in a dance"yan ang concept na hindi dapat gayahin.next year madami ang ganyang concept.

linagaya talaga nila ang link ng sinulog sa kanilang Dinagyang festival Tribes para mapansin. grav para lang talaga mapansin. Pero nice and dinagyang ah, its full of energy, and dance at iba pa, pero walang praise o pinahahatid na pag praise at spirit sa kanilang sayaw. di mo maintindihan kung anu ginagawa.
