After watching your content, I the lights went on for me. I realized That my Dr. Gas lit me on the exact location of the L1 and the L2. I fractured these two vertebrae in Dec. and have been pretty much bed ridden with pain and just the inability to hold my weight up because of these painful fractured. I do well to get to the restroom. In an instant this happened. I went from walking 6 miles a day, snow skiing, waterskiing tennis, no more play with my grandchildren.. Thank you for your videos. Sooo helpful.
Every school leavers must have the basic knowledge of human anatomy, particularly the spinal column. I believe that which will prevent many unhappy life and suffering!
Excellent, love the 3D diagrams... it is very hard to get an understanding of a facet joint movement from a 2D image, but this really cleared it up, thank you!
I guess Im randomly asking but does anyone know of a method to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot my password. I would love any help you can offer me.
@Finnegan Mario I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Finnegan Mario DAMN IT REALLY WORKED :O I just got access to my ig password after ~ 45 mins by using the site. Just had to pay 15 bucks but definitely worth it =) Thanks so much you saved my account!
Great video, thanks. Is it possible to explain what the difference is in the spine between a normal person and a hyper mobile person, such as a contortionist? Thank you.
I don't know hardly any Anatomy and I'm 49 year old... Don't even know how to explain to my doctor (not.that they seem.to care anyway!) But it would be good to know what I was talking about.
One more comment I can make; if you are a young girl & can have a surgeon see you at the Shriner's Hospital, you will be in two of the BEST surgeon's hands God ever created. This man also has a "B" in his name, but the care & thoroughness between the two, are more than day & night. Avoid spinal fusion if possible & always take at least a few months if U R told you're "PROGRESSING". To protect what could be (as it was with me, a medical professional) half of your life could be destroyed. God w U
Your anatomy videos are so helpful! I’m struggling understanding anatomy for my massage therapy test. This video along, with others that you have made have helped me tremendously! Thank you so much!
If you are taking an anatomy class and looking for information on anatomy of the spine/vertebrae, as suggested in the title, this is only marginally useful. I also believe that the proper terms for the curvatures of the spine are lordotic and kyphotic. Excessive curvature in those regions is termed lordosis and kyphosis. Not enough to give a "dislike," but I wouldn't give it a "like" either. For patient information, it is probably adequate.
Good Evening Dr. Dear and Revered Dr.Randale sechrest, First of all , I bring royal salute for your video presentation. Today evening, I saw your anatomy video. It is an amazing and wonderful explanation video. You are a good teacher to educate to initial medical students and also to educate those who are not studying in medicinal subjects. It was very helpful to all educated and uneducated people.
That was brilliant! Exactly what I was hoping to see (although I didn't realise it at the time). Great explanation and animation together for a well-paced description of the lumbar spine anatomy. Thanks to all for their efforts :)
Sir, how i come to know how joints work in vertebrae and how it can move. HOW STRONG WILL BE THE RUBBARY MATERIAL THAT ABSORBS SHOCK, THANK YOU SO MUCH. I am not medical student, just practicing yoga, Kindly show that major three nervs (which is symbolised in Yoga as Ida, Pingla...) which extend from head to base( cocyx region) And please show it's location. It will be a great help.
Very good information much better that I have got from any doctors I have ♋️ @L4 L5 had surgery to remove what could be removed safely now it’s just the waiting game for it to spread again it was originally kidney cancer that has metastasize to my spine it’s terminal
I had a lumbar 4 fracture and a ct scan after 3 months of conservative treatment showed that my bones are beginning to wedge without surgery. Specifically I had 3 cracks around the vertebral body, 2 at front and 1 at back(!). The 2 front ones are melding... the back not so much. However I seem to walk and sit just fine (I don't crouch or bend because I don't know what to expect.) without much back pain. Doctor said I can live my daily life now as log as I don't overwhelm my spine. Buy I'm still wary of that crack at the back. I also do have a slightly visible compression rate - I didn't ask exactly how much now I wish I did. All in all I will follow doctor's orders but I may have to be extra cautious.
