It feels incomplete. They offer layers but there’s no option to merge down. They offer AI masking but no way to duplicate the mask. If you copy the settings using a mask from one photo and paste to the next one. All the masks that you use on the original will transfer to the next one without updating. So where is the AI? You can not even modify the shape of the mask after you create it. It doesn’t have an option to intersect masks. They want to sound so futuristic and all the new big fall update is. To try to catch up. The software is a good cool idea but is so behind of what the standard has been for many years
I don't disagree with your point. I don't take too much notice of marketing Ai terms, some of the tools are quite well done and effective, some need more work. The workflow aspect I'm interested in too, and that needs to be refined more. I was invited to try the software and I'll make more videos on it, this was simply a quick look at the main features. But I also want it to be quite clear, I'm quite open about what I like and don't like, because if you don't provide feedback then how can the developers improve it.
Dont install! Version 1.21 has killed my workflow. Its slow and cannot export any photo as locks up and GPU goes 100%. NOT HAPPY with this update. Want to go back to 1.20
@@claptnei Yes I can see a problem here I've tried to open an older catalogue and it's not letting me, I'll pass on the information to Skylum see if they can get it fixed, thanks for pointing it out.
