Hey David! I use Luminar 4 still. I've had Neo since it was released, but I've been very frustrated with it and don't use it. 1. Whenever I try to update, nothing happens. I'm still on 1.4.2! 2. I find the layout in Luminar 4 to be much better. Easier to find what I need for editing. Not so filled with things I wouldn't use or have to scroll down for. If there was a way to eliminate categories so the UI was better, that would be helpful. 3. I can't find a button to fix lens distortion, chromatic aberration or defringing. They're in L4, but nowhere to be found in Neo. With the Sony RX100m7 every photo taken at 24 mm has a huge amount of lens distortion. It's a must have for editing with that camera. If you know where I can find those needed fix buttons, please share!
I remember when it was a Raw + amazing AI editing program that was advertised. Than it turned into a host application to sell bunch of AI half backed plug ins. Now the whole thing is huge in size and does only very few things really well. the rest is mostly bloat. Luminar before this was much less bloated and more streamlined and just worked better.
