well done chaps, new to Aos myself and gonna do what I do in 40k and just buy models I like, Lumineth look gorgeous, either that or sylvaneth but probably the former due to whats in the box for each vanguard. Love your videos. keep up the great work
This is the part where I struggle with the 4e release: The limiting of hero units based off drops. I know that I don't NEED a 2 drop army as if I'm playing at some high end tournaments, but it feels bad to have too many drops. Between Ellania / Ellathor, a lord regent (because dawnrider tax lmao), Severith feels like an amazing 3rd drop, but at the same time I could EASILY justify an Enlightener for a Wizard (2) that would be happy to sit in the shrine // the Sanctum... I really appreciate these videos to help me better digest everything to do with Lumineth to help me parse through all this info! P.S. Since the lord regent has such.... hot dog water for damage output, do you think Perfect Strike makes sense on him? No way is it better than Silver Wand. Love your work guys!
Perfect Strike could be really good on him. If you check out Siegfried's list in our index review, he actually does just that. You could also have both perfect Strike and silver wand, since the former is a heroic trait and the latter an artefact. So no need to choose! Three heroes is totally fine by the way. We're all focussing pretty hard on the 2-drop but having priority doesn't win you the game necessarily.
Great insights! The only warscroll I might have overlooked so far are Myaris Purifyers. Have you included them in a video and which one is it? Do you rate their dazzling light spell as useful maybe especially for non-vanari units?
@@strategoiHey! Thanks for your reply! Indeed I would be interested in a short video on Myari and his purifyers. Although it is a legends warscroll they are still playable and I wonder how useful you rate their dazzling light spell and the fact that they are Alarith, Vanari and Scinari and can therefore benefit from many different facets of war
Played with both Sevireth and the wind spirit on the same game. My opponent could do anything against them and the mortals were situational but effective when done right!
I found a funny combo when using overwhelming heat from a designated caster. And severiths ability to run around and shoot stuff. (Especially against dwarfs 🤣🤣🤣)
Love these videos, very excitied for LRL in this edition. One tip, when discussing facets of war please add a slide with the text. I'm still learning them and need to stop the video to look them up just to be sure i understand what you are talking about so adding them to the video would be very helpful
@@strategoi thanks that would be very helpful, not sure if there is still a video coming on the battle formations and their facets (I'm somewhat behind on watching all your videos!?).
