Thank you, I wish I had seen this video sooner! The Step Zoom and Lens Position Resume makes my LX100 so much quicker and better to use for street photography where I prefer a 50mm.
I am considering this camera, but have not pulled the trigger because I have some Olympus gear already. Your comments regarding the settings is logical and something a new owner might not consider. Thanks!
A great tool for street photography. Hope the mark III will use the full M4/3 sensor size (with aspect ratio switch) for more MP, PDAF, same manual and retro controls (a Shutter Speed + ISO dial), a control dial & function button at the front if possible, a little bigger body to accommodate a tilt screen (not a fully articulated screen), IBIS if possible, Internal memory + SD card type II... Mic and headphones jacks if possible, ... A monochrome sensor version as well, why not?
I just got myself the LX100ii. I went thru the settings and even read a guide on how to do it but I really dont understand 3/4 of them or know what they do. If you can make a video and step thru all the settings , that would really be helpful. Or maybe just the important stuff like exposure, metering and focusing. Thank you

You have no idea how much tip 4 helps me. I shoot left eye dominant and I was constantly changing the focus location with my nose. FN4 is now set to operation lock. Thanks Matti!! Do you have a list of all of your settings? I'm always curious about others' suggestions for setup. I've seen a number of lists for the original LX 100 but not the LX 100 II.
Hi Matti, I really loved this RU-vid presentation..., BUT, I know that there were several sub-menus referred to, and since I am kind of new to Lumix gear, being a dedicated Olympus user, I need to know how you got to the items you highlight in "The 5 Best" settings. I found some by chance, but wasn't so successful with others. HELP!
May I suggest you take the camera user manual and learn the menu structure. It's a good idea to go through the menus anyway, because you may find many useful features.
Sorry, someone can help me please? I need to know if its possible to use the directional back dial only for move the focus point and disable all the funtions that are applicate on the four directions, like iso, focus mode ecc.. cause i put those command to other customazible buttons and i really need to move my focus point non only with touch or using touch before. I cant figure it out, please help!
Please, no need to shout at me. It's the same thing if you take your camera and start navigating through each menu. At the same you'll learn the menus and learn how you camera works. If you want to get to know your camera, please do it. That's what I do every time I get a new camera.
@@mattisulanto okay thanks. yeah I'll be adding it to my collection today. It's crazy how I own the S5 and A7c, both with great lenses, but there's some weird attraction and fun I have with the tiny MFT systems, so I decided to buy the LX100ii :D
