Great coverage of Lumley! To William's point about the potential of the beach, my Lebanese friend who's from a famous family in Salone raised the same issue with me when we spent some time in Lumley in January 2023. Lumley/Aberdeen are magnet for tourist with so many hotels & being so close to the City centre. I left Salone at the young age of 12 over 45yrs ago. I want to say this - I think Lumley/Aberdeen is key to attracting the world to Salone if Salone can take a different approach & deal with the cleansiness. It would require a partnership that includes the government (e.g. Ministry of Tourism), business owners, local residents and board of directors to make it work. I'm not sure what role you can play for this consideration, but I won't mind being part of the conversation & offering my experiences & expertise in any way I can. 👉 You, Triple-A, are the man!!! I am happy to get a view on this marvellous beach. For the first time I see peole in free time activities. Most videos showed very busy people, but now I learn Saloneans are fond of sports when they enjoy their free time on Sundays. That`s wonderful as ball games and jogging are appropriate activities on this very extended beach. Thank you for enriching our knowledge on another gorgeous district. 😎
Sierra is blessed with beauty but to maintain it beauty, My advice to the personnel in charge of the beach is for all shop owners to contribute and hire security and clearing staff to secure and enforce law and order . as well as clearing at last twice a day and also install trash being all around for people to Troy their trash. Sorry triple A..I was in lumley beach 2018....sitting outside a beach bar .saw a Chinese man peeing... and I have to ask him..if he can do this in china ..I start fucking him up with aggressive language coz I was so upset to see someone peeing in the beach....I then ask the security ...I tell the security off again...for letting ppl peeing in the beach ...that was so disgusting..sad
I totally agree with your comments. Sierra Leoneans living locally do not have cleanliness in their vocabulary anymore. It's rather unfortunate that the entire city/country has trash everywhere. They have to start teaching hygiene and self discipline in elementary schools. Roys has the best food in my opinion and Sierra Palms hotel is quite nice and safe. Thanks Triple A for all that you do.
Well, Triple A what's your opinion about lumley beach ⛱️? Do you think it's up to standard? Do you like what you saw based on this video? Do you think there's room for improvement? Or do you think that will do? In my opinion, is like a dumping zone. every tourists zone must be well looked after for tourists to wanna always come back and have a great time, and create great memories right 😀 who's the minister of tourism Triple A? Surely, the minister of tourism is getting paid for making sure all tourists zones in our country are well maintained to the highest capacity for tourists to wanting to stay and have a great time with their families and friends. Some of those people in their offices are not really doing their jobs they supported to be doing. Or maybe, they has no clue what their role in the office is. Some of them probably only sat in their offices digging their noses and get paid instead of work work looking for investors who could come and create jobs for our people who wanted them. There's not even one toilet around for the public, Let alone toilets. They're should be looking to provide dust bins for people to dump their rubbish too. Don't understand why people are getting paid for doing nothing. we could all clearly see they not doing their jobs properly. I just don't get it Triple A. They're has zero vision how to move our country forward. Thanks again Triple A.
The Lumley and Aberdeen beaches is as beautiful as my wife Mariama, if we controlled Our trash and other garbages this beach will be number one in Africa West, I love this beautiful beach but due to human activities sometimes lead our beach in bad condition.
