Best song of at least the last 10 years. First heard this on a MOJO magazine sampler, listened to it about 20 times in a row, and bought both the CD and vinyl.
I love this song and this video! But after trying to find out who the dancer is, 12 days after the video was published, I now realize that there was no dancer involved in this production! Nothing you see in this video is real, it is a computer animation! Check other animations by Esteban Diacono if you, like me, have a hard time to understand this can be done virtually. EDIT 2018-05-31: Matt Cuttler added a comment below, clarifying the dancer is Emiliano Larea, in a motion capture
This is my favourite video of all time, it appears to be timeless and it will never lose it's value to me. Just wish it was longer and all the videos were filmed this way, my neice studies the moves so she can look as fluid. Greatness.
I agree with you completely! She is a brilliant songwriter and her voice is breathtaking. I'm looking forward to more from this collaboration because the guy seems to be very good as well
I completely agree! I have loved her since I was 15 and going through a rough time... 7 years ago!!! My all time favorite... and so so wish she would come to Texas for a concert
Most definitely. Her progression as an artist has been amazing too - the maturity in her last two albums alone is mad. Her commentary on modern life too is on point
Great song and the video is really cool! I lost contact with a friend who shared my huge admiration for Laura Marling and now, after watching this masterpiece, I can't help but think of how much we would enjoy exchanging words on our impressions of the new song and Lump as whole. (Hey man, if you're reading this, I hope you liked the song as much as I did.)

I love Ms. Marling because she is incredibly hard working. She continues to expand her creative horizon, from symphony orchestras to this collaboration with dance. I adore the intimacy of her early work and her boundless creative spirit.
I took for granted mentioning her brilliant talent. I also adore that she took time for herself during the "yoga period" in LA and her wonderfully human and humble comments about that time. She is honest and conveys her genuine nature in every word, note and nuance of her art.
The video, itself, is a collaboration with the medium of dance, not the genre of "dance music." As the "official" video, her music accompanies the choreography, as musician's did for Martha Grahm or Twyla Tharp.
So glad to see LM moving forward into new music/influences/sounds. If she stays the course, she will rival Joni Mitchell, which is not magic, just staying true to knowing there are no rules, hearing the muse, staying artistic and working hard with others with an open mind. Such a bright future, I'm excited to keep listening. Thanks for sharing your heart and mind Ms. M.
