Same. My Daughters lump is hard and a mass in her tonsil. They are running test right now. 3 doctors dont know what it is. Her blood work/byopsy is headed to the CDC in Washington. I have a lump also. Mine seems like its a fluid build up and not painful. I need to go sokn. I put it off for 3 years because of Covid, but now it's time. 😢
Thank you. I feel better now. I was getting a tiny worried because I had melanoma removed a couple years ago from my shoulder and have a swollen lymph node under my jaw by my throat.
Very helpful video. My lump in my neck is progressively getting smaller, after having had a throat infection that made me lose my voice, I later recovered my voice, and noticed a lump on my neck. Doing home remedies, it has gotten slowly smaller over time . It's a very firm lump.
Glad I came across this video, I have two lumps on my right side of the neck and I was freaking out. It doesn’t bother me or hurt but I can feel it. I am still going to go check it out just to be sure. I feel better after watching this video. Thanks doc!
@@leslieguerra8295 I did end up doing these exercises and they helped a great deal. The lumps went away but i did end up going to the doctor just to make sure. Luckily It was just an infection. The lumps were all gone after a month of watching the video and doing the exercises.
Thank you soo much for the informative video, I currently have a lump at the front of my neck just under the Addams apple and It's totally freaking me out, I googled (bad idea of course) and was completely in my head about thyroid cancer. @@pansyd137 I was hospitalized for 1 night and 2 days, i was hooked up to 2 IV’s and EKG leads, i received strong iodine solution in my mouth 😖 and it was horrible. the nurses had me on a tight medication regiment 😵💫. but all in all, i am doing sooo much better being on the methimazole, i figured i can do the medication for now then once my hormones are a little less out of whack i am going to look into a more holistic approach
Well I have been on antibiotics for a few weeks prior to noticing it so I will assume it’s not an infection but it has also not grown in the several months that I had it? So what would it be then? It doesn’t fit the description’s?

Hey I have a question, I had cancer (hodgkins lymphoma) before, I am now 3 months in remmision, I just got a lump (1.5cm) on my right neck, im also little bit sick. I also had 1 on the left side and it vanished.
I've had an enlarged mandibular lymph node for the past 3 years that gets larger and smaller from time to time, I went to a doctor and he told me not to worry about it and he gave me an antibiotic, I took the full course but the lymph node stayed enlarged and still gets smaller and larger from time to time. fast forward to now its been small for the past 6 month until last week where it got larger, and now I noticed an enlarged submandibular lymph node (around the size of a small grape) which wasn't there before. Any idea on what I should do or what could it be?
I'd highly suggest that you tell your Dr. And get a CT scan asap. It could possibly be a cyst that is causing the fluctuation of your lymph nodes. Anti- biotics only helps deflate the lump but it does not get to the root cause so definitely get it x-ray'd! If it does hsppen to be a cyst, it can cause more swelling and can fill with fluid once infected! I went through a very similar experience as well.

I have a lump on the back of my neck between the base of my skull/top of neck to the right of my neck bone area. It has been there a few weeks. It doesn’t hurt, it’s hard/firm and doesn’t move. I’ve been struggling with hoarseness and sharp pains in my ear on and off. Should I be worried? If so, I don’t even know what type of doctor to see first. Has anyone experienced this? Thx!

Started out with fluid on the ear and a feeling of fullness, then as that seemed to start getting better developed a swelling on the same (left) side back of my neck near the middle/spine just where the neck meets the hairline. It’s kinda soft/squishy and feels like a mound of thicker skin or even fluid. About 2-3cm and in the mornings the back of my head and ear feel full again. Anyone else had this? I’m waiting for an MRI and an ENT.
@@comicbossone2411 Hang in there my friend. I had a ultrasound done now waiting to go in for a biopsy this coming week. I hope you get well soon or find a better way to cope with what you have. I also have loud tinnitus so I hardly ever sleep.
@@furysactorslounge3956 thank you. I had a proper night of sleep last night so feel better. I’m also looking at TMJ disorder as a potential cause for the fluid. The doc thought it might be Ménière’s but I think TMJ fits better with the other symptoms. You too, take care my friend.

Have a lump in my neck now for months and my dr says it wasn’t picked up on any scans but still it gets bigger it’s a hard lump that don’t hurt but is pressing on my windpipe and when I can’t swallow properly my doctor said blend your food that is my gp she is a joke I have been turned away from er and when I’ve been having issues been treated like dirt
@@Newjackbarbie they said it was nothing to worry about, some swollen lymph nodes never go away or can stay there for a very long time but it’s completely normal, if it’s bigger than 3 centimeters though you should get it checked out.

For me the lump is not painful, stuck, and hard as a rock. But, it appears when I'm cold, but disappears when I'm warm. The lump is small so I'm kinda nervous 😓
Same I but my dad said I he’s taking me to the doctor I’m worried about it.I’ve had it for a couple weeks and it’s not getting better it rock hard and doesn’t move around but mine is under my jaw
@@Rake000 thats good to hear. Mines getting smaller and smaller but is still here. Worried me that is hasnt gone away in 6 - 8 weeks but I guess it getting smaller is a good sign.
@@Imreadingnotcleaning I also have a rock hard pea sized lump right under my jaw on my left so we're in a same boat.. I also have a bigger movable (1.5 cm) lump on my left neck. I'm getting checked out on 16.5.2023 so if u want my diagnosis remind me after that date.
