I recently rescued a 14month old Mali, have not regretted it for a minute. Though she can still be a bit of a spook sometimes she is a fantastic companion. Her best friend is my competition Border Collie. Thank you for giving those pups a chance 👍🐾🐾
I can say a dog can steal your heart in a week. I do think Ashe was sent for a reason. You gave her more love in a year than others get in a lifetime. She will always be in your heart.
I’m a very firm believer that dogs choose their people, just like Ash chose your family. It’s so hard when you lose them. Luna is so fortunate that you were the ones to rescue her. She has a wonderful life with so much love. I wish you all many, many happy years together. ❤️🙏
Ashe was meant for you. She came to you for a reason. She was your guardian and protector, and because of her, it brought you Luna. What a great story of Luna. She is beautiful, and because of you guys, she is healthy now. Animals are amazing, and we don't deserve them. They just know to love and purely love us. Kanga looks so much like my beagle, Reagan. Beagles are a hoot. Quirky, naughty and never a dull moment. Hahaha
Sometimes we only have our pups for a season and only Heaven knows the reason why. So was your time with Ashe….it was a season for an unknown reason….and they take a huge piece of our heart when they go. Your Luna is a beautiful girl…I’m so glad you saw value in her sweet face and saved her. She is your precious love and protector❤

I know you had to pay for Luna, but you really rescued her.... Belgian malinois are awesome dogs, they are loyal and a very hyperbreed. She is so beautiful, so happy that y'all got her she is awesome.❤❤❤❤❤
Ashe was sent to you for a good reason. My mom was a dog catcher back in 70s, she came a across a pack of dogs, a Doberman was walking towards her, she gave commands to her and she listened. My mom kept her tried to find her family. She lived us, and protected my mom when some creep followed her home from a bar. Week later she was reunited with her family ❤️. God works in mysterious ways

Aww you two made me cry when you told us about Ash and Stephanie started crying. I was crying right away. So heartwarming how all of Morrow Hill love animals so much. Animals are so incredibly loyal.❣❤❣

They are such a big part of our lives. We had a mini pin for 16 years that we had to put down in January she had lived beyond her years. We was my emotional support I still get very up set and cry today I miss her so much. She was that one special dog that comes once in a life time. You had me I tears which doesn't take much. Love watching

Steph, I'm glad Ash followed you. You never know what people are going to do. Please be safe and take precautions to stay that way showing property or houses alone. Lunas breed is a working breed. Maybe she can go with you to showings. Put her at work and put you and Buddy's mind at ease.

Thank you for sharing Luna's and Ash beautiful stories. I have never had a large dog before I rescued Tommy, a Catahoula Leopard dog. He now weighs 80 pounds. I feel God sent me Tommy because I couldn't stop crying after my husband passed away unexpectedly. This 9 month old puppy is now 4.5 years old. You both have such beautiful hearts. Sorry about your loss of Ash. ❤👩🐕🐾

She looks like Stella in the face. Belgian Malamutes are one of the more dangerous breeds as far as dog bites go. I'm glad she fits right in and is not too aggressive. I'm sure she is a great watch dog.

Before I retired from the sheriff's office we had these dogs as canines and they were superior not only were they protective of the officers and the rest of us in the building they were smart very intelligent and you would not believe how many times they were a lifesaver I would recommend these dogs to anybody now I'll take that back not just to anybody to those that need protection and a good dog manners temperament command-wise and I would ever hate to see one go to a bad person because they could turn them around worse than a pit bull it's been trained to fight so I think you've done a good choice.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Wow! This had me tearing up. My nephews have a “Maligator” and given the right training and enrichment they are wonderful dogs! Extremely intelligent and loyal. That man did not deserve to have a dog. So glad Luna found you guys. I love watching her in the background of your videos. BTW. I love the Porch talks!

I LOVE big dogs! I'm such a softy I ended up with 10 at one time. People are so cruel to just dump their dogs. We had a 1/2 Siberian Huskey 1/2 German Shepherd. She was the best dog we ever owned. We have a stray my son brought home that we highly suspect is the same 1/2 Husky 1/2 Shepard. We also have a Great Pyrenees that someone dumped, a Collie/Cattle dog mix my niece couldn't take care of, two dogs we actually got from our previous dogs litters. One looks like a golden Retriever, but her Mom was a Shepherd, Red Heeler, Pit Bull. ( she was wonderful but recently died of cancer) The other pup we kept was Pyrenees/ Shepard/huskey mix. And a mutt that the town drunk wasn't taking care of and she adopted us. He found her on an old country road in a cardboard box with a sister and a brother. We lost 4 dogs in a year to stokes, heart attack, and two just died. We have 4 cats. One is 20 years old and belonged to my husbands dad. We inherited her when he passed. Two that were found in a cardboard box in a ditch at the local lake. One of their litter mates didn't make it. It was °108 that day. They were 3 weeks old. We have a kitten from our female rescue that got pregnant the week we were to get her fixed! She had 4 two disappeared on us and one was given to a friend. We can't say no. Animals just find us or someone finds them and brings them to us. I have a hummingbird that makes a nest every year in my door wreath. I even had a ferret come in thru a cat door one time. I was watching TV in the dark and thought it was one of the cats sitting in my lap until I reached down to pet it! Boy was I shocked! God brings you animals and some just sense your spirit.
Good morning Stephanie and Buddy. Awe Ash sounded like a beautiful dog but with aggression you do have to be careful and keep everyone safe around you. Sad that she couldn't be saved but she taught some good lessons. Luna when I first seen her I was thinking she was pretty but I am kind of scared of dogs until I know them. But now I am fine but mind you I am what 2000 miles away so that helps. Glad she came into your life and you were able to take her out of a bad situation. Luna is gorgeous. Absolutely love her eyes. I saw how she was watching Jami, when Jami brought over your bday gift. That was almost scary. I've never really seen Fear or uncertainty in Jami's eyes when it comes to dogs, but I saw it that day, with Luna, until you spoke to her and let her know that Jami was OK. She still watched her though, and wasn't really sure just how close she wanted Jami to get to you. By the end though she was OK with Jami.

Awww Luna is adorable. I totally get what you were saying about German shepherd's. I have a German shepherd and she is the most loyal, loving and most gorgeous dog. She's my world I adore her. She never leaves my side. Belle also has allergies so grain free diet and her floof is beautiful, even when it's all over my carpet!! These beautiful babies are angels sent to us to protect and love us, I'm a firm believer of that . They're not here long enough tho and it breaks our hearts. Loved hearing about your fur babies. ❤️
You can tell she loves you all.Bless you for keeping her. I've heard of them pups. If given the correct training they have used the breed to be for ppl that have PDST here. She probably is because she filled that empty space for you Steph. She has a wonderful story❤.
