Lunar Paste VS. Foundry Wax!

You overheated the foundry wax. If doing a comparison should follow directions for product. But informative anyway

If I want to hit raised surfaces (e.g., on embossed panels), I think I'd use a brayer. Probably not practical with the Foundry Wax, but it should work with Lunar Paste and all the other water-based products we use.

Hi Tee. I don't think the Foundry wax and Lunar paste were designed to be used for the same purposes. Some of the uses may be the same but the look is different. In my mind there is no comparison. I enjoyed watching you show how each reacts.

This is great! I hope you do more of these comparisons against other products such as Sizzix Effectz Luter Wax and Izink Texture paste. I have both of those products and would be interested to know how they compare to Foundry Wax.

I've been wanting to watch this video for awhile. This is the 1st video I've watched dealing with foundry wax, & it was very interesting! As I was watching I was thinking for metal trinkets, definitely the wax, but I really can't see using it in paper. If I really want wax in paper for resist or whatever, I've got some other brands that definitely look metallic, but have a bit longer work time.

I really like the Lunar paste. I just ordered the wax. Can't wait for it to come. Great video comparison.

Thank you!! I don't use metal embellishments. I was curious about the foundry wax. I use either a ceramics product, or a little metallic acrylic paint. I'm low on the metallic acrylics and I just ordered a heavy body set. I'm not sure I am fast enough for the foundry wax. I truly appreciate this!!! He can be VERY persuasive. He is a great designer, but I don't need ALL his products, only some!!

I got my foundry wax today!

I love the lunar paste but I use a ink dauber to apply it which gives it a much deeper look. I don’t like the feeling of it on my fingers. I haven’t tried the wax yet. I have tried Spectrum Noirs wax and that takes forever to dry. I also love Tim Holtz Mica Sprays too. I find if I spray more than one coat in between each drying session then I get the look I want. I guess I just love ❤️ every ones stuff. Doesn’t matter what it is I love it 😍 because I am in my craft room all day.

I am really glad to see this because yesterday I placed a Ranger order and had a Lunar paste, and the foundry wax both in my cart. I wanted the silver though and there is nothing Lunar wax, wise to compare it with. So what do you think of the grip mat? I think it's pretty much like what you have, only a bit thinner than yours. I ordered one mat. It will fit in my stamp platform and the rest I can use for ink pads to non slip. I can't see why anyone would need 3 though. Although some people have 2 or more Misties. Selfish, they should give me one. I wanted to ask you if you might have need of one of the air blow tools that are used for alcohol inks. I got 3 at a good deal. I have a few other things that I thought looked more like stuff you would use, than I.
