Thanks for a great livestream demo Alex! 14:03 - The harsh harmonics are due to the "freeze" being active on all layers. This isn't exclusively a freeze-only button, if you turn the knob fully up it actually speeds up the sound. 23:06 - A few months ago, NI ran a campaign that included Lunaris 2 in their Komplete Collectors Edition, but it was only for a limited time. 34:00 - Regarding the max sample length, as far as I know, there are no max length for drag & drop samples. I have imported files up to half an hour long. 58:38 - They are sampled at every third note, which I think is standard and strikes a great balance between size and quality. There are typically 25 samples per Core Pad.
Lunaris and now Lunaris 2 are the end-all definitive libraries for pads in my opinion. Well worth the price even off-sale. Love your attitude and disposition in these videos. Thanks for your contribution to the music community. I've learned a lot. Cheers! 🦊
I don't even know about this product never heard of it and don't even know what I'm about to watch but I LOVE PADS so I am super excited and just clicked play havent even wattched a minute yet haha
Even with all my vintage synths, I have Kontakt, the libraries for that program are the best I've ever heard anywhere. But you're right, "it sounds like he loves digital pad sounds".. it sounds quite like my JD-800 through a Lexicon reverb.
@@VultureCulture That was my second watch, first in London 14 years ago, O2 arena, closed space, different, but also cool, this time open space, guys still making incredible show, the best in business. 😍 I've seen even small kids there ;)
@@VultureCulture You could literally feel the heat from flamethrowers, even from 200 meters ;) And close to "fire zone" was pretty hot, and that bass... firt time in my life, my nose was shaking from bass levels...
not sure this got submitted in the live chat. because I can do the live chat. but sometimes when I'm corecting spelling, it doesn't let me send for some reason. anyway, to the person asking about the microkorg last night. I have it, it's a very good synth, but do agree with vulture culture on the 4 not polyphony not being the greatest. other than that, it's an awesome synth. Brandon flowers from the Killers uses one also.
