I agree, I would choose Texas Roadhouse over Longhorn Steakhouse any day. All of your meals looked good and I bet it was a nice time with the family. :)
I went here for the first time and paid close to what you did for just myself and another person. I had the T-Bone, medium well. It was probably the best steak I’ve ever had, besides the one from Ribera in Japan. Thank you for sharing!
Great video. It was nice seeing everyone together. At least you get enough to eat unlike some places that overcharge. I love the Paul Bunyan Restaurant. You get really large potions there. You could order one meal and share with everybody. I went there years ago and it was amazing.
really nice review. It looks good. I like Texas Roadhouse too. We have that up here in Iowa where I live also Outback Steakhouse. It was nice seeing all of you together too.
Longhorn vs. Texas Roadhouse? I prefer the latter - peanuts + rolls > bread. Have you ever been to Logan's? It's my fav. of the lot. They give you a sweet potato free substitution instead of normal baked potato. Also, I see you and I have a similar palate. I prefer something with sauce to a plain jane steak.
Why not making your VC as an AD for the restaurant? first you gonna get your food for free. 2- you may get payed by them 3- you'll receive a lot of invitations from other restaurants. this is how some ppl here (Kuwait) became wealthy.....but I don't know if the Americans have same style/mentality ??!
Is tipping compulsary? what would happen if you refused? For example if the service was bad? Here tipping is discretionary and completely based on your experience and the quality of the restaurant. There is no set amount and you can choose to decline to tip.
+manchudds It is not required. If you did not want to leave a tip, you would just not leave any cash on the table or not fill in the "tip" portion on your receipt. You wouldn't say anything, you would just leave. I thought that the tip was added into the cost of the food in England. I thought there was no tipping in England.
Welcome to the United States of England haha. Tipping is becoming more acceptable. If you pay by card you can choose to pay a tip and then input the amount or decline. Alternatively you can leave cash. It is really frowned upon to add a service charge on to the bill. It is generally Chinese restaurants that do it. I wouldn't tip, unless it was a fancy restaurant or i received excellent service. As an American in England they may expect you tip though. When I travel to Europe they always expect tips, even for coffee! They see people from England as being generous...
I like Longhorn,I took my mom and dad there a few months ago and we all got the big Longhorn steak it cost me $90 something before tip. I figured Ashley is your daughter but the other people, who are they?
I have been to LongHorns a couple times and I really enjoyed my meal usually typically if we go out and we take the family it's either to Red Robins Chili's you know one of those or Applebees and usually at Applebee's I get to appetizers because there's I have two boys their wives and then my granddaughter and my husband and I and it'll be about a hundred and $l30....
+Lisa Lanham Those appetizers are wonderful, but they really do add a lot to the bill. I love to order a Bloomin' Onion at Outback. I love the trio at Cheddars. When we had a Max & Erma's, I liked their potato skins.
Oh yes I love that Bloomin Onion it is the bomb when we had the boys and they were teenagers we had to order to because they eat just one and half of ours too they are Bottomless Pits and like my husband who eats like a horse and has never gotten above 160 and 5 foot 11 he could eat and eat and eat and never never ever gain any weight and my boys the same thing I've got one that 6-4 and the other one is 5 foot 11 they just eat it and they're both in and then there's me well now I'm not so much anymore since I'm 50 pounds lighter and about 30 more I'll be there I went out yesterday for dinner and they let me order off the child's place I just loved it I got a half order spaghetti and I ate half of that and then I had a little bit more bread than I should have but it's a great place that we have down the street here my friends took me .. I ordered a small antipasto salad and ate half of that I just don't have the appetite I'm really not dieting it's because I don't feel good and it's all the medication that's a hell of a way to lose weight butter I came home and I was sick to my stomach food was very rich it was delicious now ordinarily I would have eaten more than that when I was happy but it's like I know when I'm full now and I just don't nothing tastes good I've been actually living and boiled eggs soup and toast because I just don't want to eat a lot
+Lisa Lanham Your tastes change when you are on a lot of medications. When my mom was going through chemo, she stopped drinking coffee because it just didn't taste good to her. Once she was off the chemo for a while, she would go back to drinking it.
+Tami Dunn I think you're right I think you're right I just don't enjoy eating like I used to especially I'm a sweet eater like you and I adore my sweets I tend not to go for those anymore just maybe everything changed all I know is is more weight comes off I'm happy about it but I'm also kind of worried because I'm not dieting it's just that because I don't feel good and that's not the best way to lose weight
