Today we are eating lunch at Olive Garden Italian Restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky.
* We were given salad and 4 breadsticks as part of our meal. $0
* We both ordered water to drink. $0
* Kevin ordered - Tour of Italy which includes: Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna Classico and Fettuccine Alfredo. $16.99
* Tami ordered - Pizzaiola Flatbread which includes: Italian sausage, pepperoni, roasted red peppers, basil and homemade marinara with a blend of four Italian cheeses. $7.49
* Kevin & Tami shared - Pumpkin Cheesecake which is topped with caramel and ginger cookie crumbles. $6.99
* Our total was $33.36 (after tax, but before tip)

I just started working part time at OG a month ago as a second job, but I am considering dropping down to part time at my other job and going full time at OG. Darden is a terrific company. I am utterly blown away. Most restaurant chains are greedy and treat their employees like mere cogs to a profit generating machine.

When I was there a few years ago, I got the Chicken Marsala. It was wonderful and I loved the salad and breadsticks. Yum!

You can get soup instead of salad. They have a few to choose from. You can also get more breadsticks if you ask. We always get the alfredo sauce and dip the bread in it.

yum. my whole family loves olive garden. we absolutely love the salad too. my suggestion if you eat there again is to toss the salad before serving. all of the dressing settles to the bottom and tastes best when tossed with all of the ingredients and dressing. thanks for another great video!!!

I love Olive Garden! My favorite place to eat :) we don't have one in my town so it's always a treat to eat dinner there. I order the flatbreads or mushroom ravioli with that awesome sun dried tomato and cheese sauce and of course the breadsticks! That cheesecake thoughhhhhhh mmmm. Glad you enjoyed!

Your video came on in the background while I was making dinner. I heard your accents and thought "they sound like my mom's family, I bet they're from Kentucky.." I was right!! haha! I live in PA. Great video! Haven't been to Olive Garden since my 14th birthday. It was always really good.

I love Olive Garden, I try to eat there every chance, I can. I tend to usually have to ask for my mints. I tend to usually get those seafood pasta dishes. I know some of those specials they have for a limited time, they don’t bring back and, I wish they would.

I love Olive Garden and I ordered what Kevin got . Was really good but to filling for me. I had a few bites of each thing and just bring home the rest. My son always gobbles up the rest at home. 😊

Hi Folks. The salad and bread look good. We tried to get in at Olive Garden in our area, but the wait was too long. People were waiting outside. So we left. But what bothered me was how loud it was inside. Mind you, this was on the weekend. Now that my Husband is retired, we can try going during the week. Food looks good. That Pumpkin cheesecake looks so decadent!!

As far as choosing from the Soup or Salad The Chicken Gnocchi Soup is so good the should put in cans and sell it in grocery stores that's how good it is Yummy!

how does it compare to the cheese cake factory cheese cake? Are they doing their soup and salad deal , did you see any thing like that , that is my favorite, I have been to that one location

+levimissy11 You know, I didn't see anything about a soup & salad deal, but that doesn't mean anything. I may have missed it. I have not had The Cheesecake Factory pumpkin cheesecake, but as far as texture and flavor and quality goes, this cheesecake had it all. I think it was just as good as the cheesecakes we order at The cheesecake Factory.

My favorite restaurant. Next time try the chicken Scampi. The best thing on the menu. Soooooo good! BTW, that was fettuccine Alfredo on Kevin’s plate; not spaghetti. 😘. Also, toss the salad before you plate it because all the dressing is in the bottom. Best salad anywhere, I think. We often go just for the all you can eat salad and breadsticks.

That pumpkin cake looked absolutely divine! I love the Olive Garden, sadly we don't have them in Eastern Canada but every time I go to the US I make a point to eat there. I have always had such great service there too! Last time I was there I tried the "deep fried artichoke hearts" which I was skeptical of, but they were so delicious. Would recommend trying them!

Olive Garden's salads are crap; iceberg lettuce bleh. They used to have a great low-cal option, apricot chicken. Sad to see it's not on the menu anymore.
