Lunch flight to Payson Airport - May 3, 24

I agree. Payson is almost a mile high elevation, so it would be cooler in summers and not too bad in winters, getting some snow. I don't know much else about the town, what is located there, cost of living, etc, but it seems like it would be a good place to live.

I am based at LaCholla Airpark (57AZ) in NW Tucson (Oro Valley). After leaving the Oro Valley area in the video after take-off, the flight to Payson only passes Superior that I labeled. It's normally around a 50 minute flight to Payson, which is one of my favorite food flight airports. KPAN has a great fly-in campground that I have frequented many times. It's nice camping there and using the restaurant for breakfast and lunch. They have a coutesy car that I use to run into town for evening meals or supply runs. Lots of fun and the camping is free... they even supply campfire wood.
