I went to do a bit of filming on a lovely windy day up at out ferry port , Was so impressive ,,walking around thought why not go over and take Lunch in our sister Island in Gozo little was I to know i found everything empty and closed ..Hunting around I did find some delights ..watch until the end to find out !!

Another entertaining video, as a maltese man in England I do love watching them they remind me of what I'm missing ,any chance of doing more on gozo please.

Oh Joseph I would really love too ..You seen the lunch one in gozo I got to thereminal and over to gozo and it was almost dark ..lol maybe next year ..I am hoping for retirement

Morning Steve, frosty morning here in Stourbridge , lovely blue sky too. Really enjoyed your trip over to Gozo , beautiful island , it is a shame everywhere is closed , we went over a few years ago , standing waiting for a bus to go round the island for ages in the end the taxis kept stopping wanting us to get in so we did , nice though , took us to all the sights , really enjoyed it , bought some lovely Gozo glass...it's sitting proud in the lounge. Stay safe Steve, looking forward to your next adventure.

Yes buses are really ridiculous in summer ..I just do not trust them to get around ..There's a big change in taxis now with all the apps around ..I go lots of Glass From 40 years ago ..lol 😂

Steve, what a difference a year makes!! So sad to see how desolate the ferry and Mgarr are. Usually, the kiosks on the docks by the ferry are thriving with tourists and wonderful food. When this pandemic is over and Paul & I come back to Gozo, we will invite you to our place for a proper lunch! Thank you for another great video. Stay safe...things are getting very scary again!

Hi Steve, I enjoyed watching your video on your visit to Gozo. It brought back lovely memories of twenty years ago when my wife and I lived and worked at Gozo Glass. Gozo is a lovely island my wife and I made many friends there. We hope to visit the island some time in the near future and meet up with our Gozotan friends who live in the Village of Xaghra where we stayed for two years. Once again thanks Steve👍

That must have been disappointing Steve, arriving in Gozo to find everything closed! ⛔ I was expecting some delicious street food.. 🌯🌭🍕🌮 With all the bars and restaurants closed it looked like a ghost 👻😱 town. Thanks for sharing the experience and I hope the pre packed sandwich didn't give you indigestion 😝😂

Hi Steve sweety that was lovely I just love all of it ,the waves splashing against the gozo boat the people milling about 😅😘😅 and the way you take things as they come ,your happy go lucky outlook is fab 🤗😘 nothing much seems to fase you ,you are amazing and inspite of yucky white egg minus the salad sandwich followed by no so tasty ricotta pie you took it really well pity not the usual scrummy hobs bizzejt which we all drool whilst watching you munching into it was most enjoyable video,😂 you never disappoint I just love the whole boat thing wish I was on the boat to gozo thank you steve sweety take care stay safe and always happy Xxxx 😂😘🤗⚘🥰😊🥰

ah steve another memory, love the ferry to gozo, i was so lucky to be over feb this year, for carnival and i had a fab time with my daughter, then came home to a pandemic tut crazy eh , the sunset coming back is lovely x

Ah, what I wouldn't give for a trip on the ferry and a spot of lunch in Xlendi. If you're off the beer I rather like the coffee on the boat and in the terminals, cheap too. That said the sandwich looked awful and, like you, I don't much care for the ricotta qassatat (had a dodgy one from nearby one time). Far prefer the pea ones. Sad to see Gozo so closed down, the Gleneagles bar does a decent pint overlooking the harbour, when open.

I love going to Gozo, the ferry ride is so calming. I was going to go last year but the ferry was cancelled due to bad weather 😢 Wow, your ricotta pie was twice the size of the one I had in Mosta and that filled me up 😁

I love it when its more rough 😱 its not very often they stop the crossing..When you are a superstar you tend to get vip treatment a super duper qassatat 👍👍

Hi steve .Nice one mate love gozo been a few times when we where in Malta nice ferry crossing. We went to Xlandia Bay think thats spelt right.Anyway we had nice lunch there. Loving your street food videos mate keep it up.🍣🥮🍧👍👍Cheers steve

Gaudos is one of the names for Gozo I think it was from Roman language like Għawdex is the maltese. I have had many drinks in the Gleneagles Bar at Mgarr Harbour they have a great assortment of fish on the walls and ice cold Cisk.

An absolute shambles lad. I can't believe you chanced that bland but tie! If you'd have jumped the bus up to Victoria, 15 minutes tops, you'd have found loads of gozotan ftira with pizza like qualities, potato, tuna, red onions, gbejna. Next time perhaps

Hi Steve, thanks for showing us Gozo. I love it their. So, all the restaurant were all close just like over there. I'm not happy about the way things are going. I like the Maltese Kinnie drink, I brought back 8 cans last year. Sorry about the wind noise. Anyway keep up the good work!😊🏝👍

Again, I always manage to be eating my morning cereal when I see your eating videos! Haha, but, I have to say the food didnt look too appetizing today.Oh well, you can only do what you can do in circumstances as we have at present times. I really couldnt get over how much it has changed over there. The last time I was at Gozo was in 2000! Ive been to Malta many times but hadnt gone back to visit Gozo since then. Your slipping Steve NO CISK with lunch 😁Kinnie is good but if I had a choice 😁 mind you it would be a nice dry red for me. We can buy Kinnie here in OZ but it's $19 a case of 12 x 330ml bottles. Qassatat are ok but they are a little dry at times. Cheers 👍👍👍

@@EnglishmaninMalta I hope you are respecting the laws. It's not the alcohol itself that causes infection but the way people act once they consume it. If this virus was a joke, people wouldn't be going through all this pain of closing down. I been stuck in the states since last March trying to get back home to Malta. Your actions, as well as others, make a difference hopefully you learn that before it's too late. My antie tried to sue the Candian gov for the restrictions thinking its a fake, now she is a long hauler herself. Try a bit of marinara and mozzarella on top of the qassatat at home next time. It will be like a tiny calzone.

Mario Farrugia Yes when you get to Rabat/Victoria go up the steep narrow hill to the Italian Pastizzi shop , where they sell home made Italian Ice Cream 🍨. Italians /Maltese eat pasta all the time , and rice meals . Maltese love Rabbit 🐇 they crave it .
