I love it, the sign says "No Smoking in this Area." He lights one up.

I love working on the river u make good money and have nice friends too.

Capt Kyle, you sure would be fun to work with. The line boats I decked on had the meanest, grumpy old captains I've ever known!

You gotta love a job where your first day on the job, someone asks you how you want your steak and what meal do you want it on.

When you start on a tug or MSC Ship you start at 160 lbs and you end at 260lbs. 5 lbs a year. Well documented. It's actually getting better....

I never had any cooks that looked like that. Lucky crew.

Lunch/meals - -The only thing that makes a towboat run better than a good cook is diesel!!!!

Whats that no smoking sign for.....

Generally if I was the cook I would want to fix hot breakfast and dinner, and at lunch have a soup/chili/stew, sandwich and salad bar. Let the crew put together what they want, when the want. Just come in between 11 and 1 to get a plate. That way they can eat when they have the chance, because I know even when if most of them can break at one time for a meal there still has to be folks on station while the boat is underway.
