THE LUNCHBOX LEGENDS
WOW!!! Now that was fun and challenging and so awesome.
Between the 10th and 13th of September, 25 enthusiastic Lunchbox supporters and team headed up to Willowmore in the Eastern Cape to cycle 170km through the wonderful Karoo. We were confronted by 45km headwinds in 35 degrees for the latter part of Day 1 and all had to dig VERY deep. But that was sandwiched between 3 days of fun, a theatre show, great food, live music, desert art and hilltop dancing. We raised close on R80 000 which has helped support our live theatre shows and school workshops.
So much thanks to ALL the riders, the support team and of course the donors.
