Tatlong saliw ng Pambansang Awit ng Pilipinas, "Lupang Hinirang", ang itinugtog sa okasyon ng panunumpa ni Fidel Valdez Ramos bilang Pangulo ng Pilipinas noong ika-30 ng Hunyo, 1992 sa Quirino Granstand sa Lungsod ng Maynila. Dalawa lamang sa tatlo ang nakapaloob sa video na ito.
Ang una ay bilang parangal panghukbo kina Ramos at sa papababang Pangulo Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino sa kanilang pagdating. Ito ay mauulit sa pagtatapos ng programa para lamang kay Ramos bilang commander-in-chief ng Sandatahang Lakas ngunit dahil sa sobrang kahinaan ng tunog nito ay hindi na ipinakita pa ng channel na ito.
At ang pangalawa ay ang pagpupugay sa bansa bilang pagbubukas ng programa kung saan nanguna ang isang koro sa sabayang pag-awit ng lahat ng mga kalahok at mga manonood.
Sa araw na ito ay 5 Pangulo ng Pilipinas, dati man o kasalukuyan o sa hinaharap, ang nakilahok sa seremonya ng panunumpa kabilang sina Ramos at Gng. Aquino. Ito ay sina Diosdado Macapagal, Joseph "Erap" Estrada na nanumpa sa araw na ito bilang Pangalawang Pangulo, at Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III na noo'y presidential son.
ENGLISH:
Three renditions of the National Anthem of the Philippines, "Lupang Hinirang", were played during the inaugural ceremonies for Fidel Valdez Ramos as President of the Philippines in the 30th of June, 1992 at the Quirino Grandstand in the City of Manila. In this video, only 2 renditions are shown.
The first was played as a salute to Ramos and the outgoing President Mrs. Corazon Aquino upon their arrival at the venue. This will later be repeated solely for Ramos as commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces at the end of the program. But due to its inaudibility, the channel no longer featured it.
The second was used as honours to the nation wherein a choir led the singing of all participants, guests, and audiences present.
At this historic moment, 5 Presidents, whether past or present or future, were present at this ceremony aside from Ramos and Mrs. Aquino. They were Diosdado Macapagal, Joseph "Erap" Estrada who also took his on as Vice-President on that day, and then-presidential son Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III.
