Lupillo Rivera, el hermano de La diva de la banda se emocionó al despedir a la artista en su funeral y le cantó en honor a lo que más le apasionaba.
Miles de fans despidieron con música de banda y mariposas.
"El propósito de Dios para Jenni se ha cumplido", dijo su hermano, el pastor evangélico Pedro Rivera Jr, en su sermón al término de la ceremonia matutina en el teatro Gibson, en las instalaciones de los estudios Universal.
El LearJet en el que viajaba, fabricado en 1969 con un permiso de seis meses para volar en México y que había sido ofrecido en venta a Rivera, cayó casi en picado y a más de 1.000 km/h de velocidad, pocos minutos después de despegar del aeropuerto de Monterrey el pasado 9 de diciembre.

Esta mujer, volvió con un tipo abusador varias veces. Siendo menor de edad, su familia la debería haber protegido de ese depredador. Me parece triste, no heroico. Si se hubiese quedado en su casa con su primer embarazo, ese tipo no la hubiese embarazado de nuevo ni violado a sus hijas.

Nosotros también. Increíble ver su historia en Netflix después de su muerte. Definitivamente ella lucho mucho. Soy hombre y cuando veo lo duro que le asen la vida otros hombres alas mujeres me enoja muchísimo. I’m a black girl and watched the entire series on Netflix and I feel for her family. I know they were close and that’s something I admired about her family. It was truly a gruesome and tragic accident. I believe Lupillo was one of the few brothers who identified her body.

I remember I was doing laundry with my dad and it was all over the news. My mom is a huge Jenni fan I didn’t know why she was so in love with her cause she sang her songs so much and after watching her series I understand now. Jenni is a great role model and was a great person sad that she passed this way.

This hit home for me. I sang to my mom at her funeral right in front of her casket. I don’t have the best of voice but I sang “Triste Recuerdos”. I don’t know how I managed to get through the song without crying but I could hear my mom tell me not to cry in her comforting voice…Remind your mother how much she means to you before she’s gone..you only get one in your lifetime.
