Bugs wasn't crude before with the same Nazi stuff amongst earlier NSFW racist stuff? But okay if Lupin can manipulate reality or the literal plot like a god then you may have a point.
@@yourcordialvermillionchapw2398 By crude I mean Bugs Bunny didn't have the overt sexual humor (apart from the crossdressing) or try to feel up any lady toons.
This is the only 3D animation I've seen that actually feels like a cartoon. Most animators just want everything to look as realistic as possible and it takes out all the personality
I've got to love how cartoonily expressive everyone's faces are. Especially lupin. It stretches all over the place and still manages to not look like rubber.
That would require many times the labor to produce. The anime industry already has a problem with overworking animators, and you want them to work even harder?
Highkey wanted Laetitica to join the gang. Ughhh her and Lupin were so cute this entire film. I really hope we get a continuation where she finishes schooling but still wants to join them.
Yes same! She brought something different to the gang and her chemistry with Lupin is undeniable and just so cute. You can definitely tell she has skill and lots of passion for what she loves, which was fun to see meshed with the high key insanity of Lupin and his gang
Nah, the dynamic of the main five is too perfectly balanced, it'd be like adding a fifth Ninja Turtle--that didn't turn out so great. Still, Lupin guest heroines don't always have to be girl-of-the-week, and I'd like to see Laetitia again sometime. Part 5 finally has some older characters return from previous movies and episodes across the franchise. I think Clarisse from Castle of Cagliostro got an audio drama.
I'm just so impressed with how they translated Lupin the 3rd to 3D. Not only is it legitimately phenomenal animation & designs, but there are so many scenes that hit me with sudden nostalgia for the original run. The composition, feel, and direction is just... so true to the spirit of the series.
0:35 I had to pause the video and just stare at the screen for two minutes straight to process the picture in front of me Listen, out of all the things in the world I did NOT expect to see goddamn Hitler here
Look out for "lupin part 2 out of context" and had a good time, there's a take of jigen that kill me everytime. "My reputation for misoginy is Legendary"
instead of live-action anime adaptations, animations studios should just do this shit, this is great! i would totally be down for an MHA 3d animated movie of some kind
0:34 the real question is did Lupin make a joke based off of a scene in a movie that contains Nazis The one with the scene in question I heard was improvised
Although this movie in particular is suitable for kids many Lupin movies feature several sex jokes and some a lot of violence too. There's also the miniseries The Woman Called Fujiko Mine which is filled with nudity, violence and themes of mind control, government conspiracy and child abuse, the movie Goemon's Blood Spray which features a ton of gore and the original manga features tons of profanity, violence, nudity and tons of rape.
Lupin isnt exactly for kids. Think of it like the French/Belgian comic books, because comics in europe are considered an art, the comics arent afraid of slipping in sleazy fanservice or adult oriented jokes for the older fans.
Man I love Lupin And I've seen a lot of crazy things in the anime But the craziest thing I've seen in Lupin is Fujiko sneaking up on Lupin IN A HELICOPTER
This is so weird to watch. I love it, but my brain can't understand Pixar-like animation with the lip synching not fitting English, due to it being Japanese. ... but Subbed feels weird too, because my brain expects English from Pixar-like animation, as that's all I'm used to!
the one thing i've always be curious about is... does lupin write the note by hand each time or does he have a stamp? (I personally find it more funny to think he writes it each time)
I can’t tell if this is a kids show, and adult movie or what but it’s oddly funny and I’m in love with the cartoony 3D animation. I’m surprised I have never heard of this because it seems like it’d be super popular.
The movie in particular is preety child friendly. The series in general can range from wholesome princess saving adventure for the whole family to noir crime thriller with themes such as brainwashing and child abuse, tons of violence and excessive nudity
That's what he's called in the Japanese too (ルパン | lit. rupan) He's named after the French character Arsène Lupin (his grandfather in the show, hence Lupin the third) Both the English and Japanese are the same, but not quite the French pronunciation. If you want to get closer to the French pronunciation you can say it like how they say Lupin but stop abruptly before the n
