"I don't know if I would do it again..." Lupita Nyong'o dishes on her new movie "A Quiet Place: Day One," and reflects on going to a 10 day silent meditation retreat after the press tour for "Black Panther." Lupita admits she really struggled throughout the retreat, but by the end she felt more present and in tune with herself. Lupita also dishes on growing up learning four languages, her aspiration to do comedy, and moving to Los Angeles from New York.

@@nobuhlekhumalo1903 agree not to mention Lupita is from Kenya so she does not have the emotional baggage of being the descendant of slaves or growing up in a predominantly white society having to deal with racism or questions about her self worth or beauty or value the issue with a lot of us in the diaspora and I am referring to ADOS in the Americas and the Caribbean like myself is we have that baggage of slavery and growing up in multi cultural societies where we are often devalued and put at the bottom I think thats why Lupita is able to carry herslef the way she does

There’s so much more to NY than buildings. Lupita never went past Manhattan or Brooklyn then bc I live in a suburban like neighborhood in the middle of Queens. And I have trees and parks everywhere. @@jowaness Thank you for asking! Because we live in a spiritual world, there is God and His angels and the devil and His demons. If we are not worshipping God intentionally through Jesus Christ who died for our sins but rose again on the third day because Hell couldn’t keep Jesus because He didn’t sin, but instead took our sins upon Himself so that we may have eternal life in Him and not go to Hell because the wages of sin is death. So by-default we are worshipping or connecting with the demonic world. If God didn't say it in His Word and God can not lie then it is not of God, but the devil is the father of all lies, therefore, he has the legal rights to operate in it. There is literally a spiritual battle that most of us cannot see! So, when people do yoga or meditation they unknowingly connect with demons! I hope I answered your question!
