Nice video, great sunrise over the sea (you don't get anything as spectacular around London). You may not notice it yourself but your confidence in what you do whether on the beach or lure fishing has really grown since you started your channel. Thanks for posting.
Huge thanks David comments like this make me smile. When I watch back through them I do feel more confident now. Thanks for following me from the beginning and all your continued support :)
hey man, I know its an old vid, but just in case if you haven't try the autowalkers yet give it a go, I am not crazy about surface lures, but with those you just need to reel, great video btw!
A great video. You're very persistent, but kept going when you didn't get a take. It'll pay off. I've watched of few of your videos & have just subscribed.
I've got a hat like that !!! Great demo Jason, only thing I can say is at the moment the water temperature is much lower than normal for this time of year, but they are about and hopefully things will improve soon !
Hi jase you ok mate. Another good film, very educational. Do you no your furys can it handle 6oz lead and weed ??. And the gorilla from tronix . Investing in new rod and cant make my mind up. All the best matey from grimsby.
Hi mate how's it going, thanks :) yeah they will easily cast a 6 oz with big bait I was using both Monday and had no issues with either in the wind and pulling in weed clumps. Best thing I can advise if to try get to a tackle shop and have a feel for them before you decide what one to get. Everyone is different and depending on what ground your fishing over or what you want to get from the rod will be deciding factors personal to you as a angler.
@@TheEastbourneFisherman we will be there from next Sat for a week so I'll have a sieve through my lures etc, if not I'll have a look in anglers den 👌🏻 pop you a msg next weekend 👍🏻 cheers mate
I’d give the seekers a good go mate, they are one of if not my favourite lures..... caught 80% of my bass on them...... they are awesome in the surf especially. Tight lines mate
Loving the videos mate... im new to fishing also living in Eastbourne... Just brought a spinning rod nothing great ... penn warth i belive.... with some mono 10lbs line.... do i need a shock leader puting on ?...
If only spinning for mackerel with 10lb mainline then i would say yes to a tapered leader which is usually 15lb to 60lb The rule of thumb i believe is for every ounce of lead u need 10lb shockleader So if using a 3oz lead 40lb leader is good as it gives u a bit more and is safe On my spinning mackerel rod i use 30lb mono / with a 2oz lead with no leader It depends on where your fishing if lots of people around a shock leader is safer if fishing places where not many people then i dont use one Hope this helps
I use a 24lb fireline which is v overkill but seems to be ok When putting it on you need to have alot of tension. I usually get my local tackle shop to spool mine on But alternatly you can drop the spool in a bucket of water and just above the reel have a wet cloth run the line through that and push pressure but tbh its easier to get the pros to do it for you and you know its done correctly
The lure was cursed, I used it on a session and got the treble stuck in my thumb when trying to un hook a bass I now forever have a hard bit of skin in the centre of my thumb where I pulled it out! While chewing on a wet sock!
