Fishing Big Sea Bass In Big Winter Seas - Gros Bar En Grosse Mer - Lure Fishing
I this video I was on a short winter fishing trip and unfortunately arrived with big swells running.
It was vital I had the right sea bass lures for the tough conditions. Strong seas and wind made lure fishing difficult. Its surprising how close sea bass will come in during such strong seas!
When lifting sea bass out a strong, long and light rod is a great advantage.
The Samson longcast was perfect for the conditions.

I'm sure there's as big bass in Ireland, a lot of people don't lure fish for them during big swell and over rocks and ledges like you do. I'm on a mission. Enjoying your footage 👍

Thanks! Well I use mainly 20lb braid but sometimes 15lb with no structure around and sometimes 30lb in very rocky area. 20lb or 30lb Fluro depends on the spot. Yes I was in Portugal. Ive not actually fished at Faro but its generally flatter conditions so smaller lures can work well

Man the music is terrible for fishing videos it really ruins every thing 😪 just use it for intro and that's it i can barely hear you in the middle of the music..such a pain 🥲you make great content but please eliminate the music not good
