@@mmmmelemon2999No? Early game means exactly what it means. Scientist is better for early game since it's cheaper. If you don't know, let's say I was playing Castle Town. And in this game, let's say wave 5, I get level 3 scientists. It's better for early waves. Hence, early game.
Lure is good for dealing crowds such as battle mode (battle mode mimic toy takeover) on the other hand scientist is mainly good for range and both deal lots of dmg
You forgot the hidden part of lures kit in which if a fast enemy gets by it, it will continue attacking nothing and can potentially screw you over with its cooldown letting enemies perfectly spaced from the fast enemy, walk by the lures nearly unscathed. It’s this one thing about lure that keeps me away from using it.
Lure is way better early game, one of the most cost efficient towers (lv 2 lure has about 9 dps for only 1k it’s amazing) and lure at lv 4 may have lower dps than max lure but it’s almost half the price (price scientist still wins in but in cost efficiency lure is crazy good) some new category’s I’ve come up with: Sustainability (Lure) Lv 4 Lures can help with the mid game a ton due to low cost for high DPS. Consistency (Scientist) Lure just decides to not attack sometimes while Scientist is Accelerator without the charge up time, popularity is the worst category considering it’s pretty much the communities opinion, the winner (in my opinion) Still Lure, I ALWAYS bring lure because of its high max dps (560 DPS no spec) and it’s adorable 🥰 (this is just a rant if you read this go to a mental hospital I have no opinion to you)
both are good at what they are used for but since lure due to early detection and stun immunity is less versatile for every specific map but does great at what they carry on
Lure is an ideal mana farm cause of his 0.16 firerate and dps. And stun immunity to be incredibly busted in blastech and timeless. Don't forget hidden detection at all levels
For me personally scientist would win, it has very good range and dmg, you can use it with many players, it’s just amazing. Yes it can get stunned but scientist is a ranged hero so it shouldn’t be a problem. Lure is also great but not as great as not many ppl have it, it’s not very usable in many situations where lure just gets trapped attacking air bc of a fast enemy which basically wastes his attack as he has such a long cooldown unlike scientist.
Lure is just better than scientist is most ways the stun immunity is probably its biggest strength also lure IS BETTER EARLY GAME THAN SCI better dps for cheaper placement
I feel like popularity and skins shouldn't really count, but still. Another thing, if Lure is better, why are scientists the main part in all strategies? Lure is (presumably) a lot better
Welp lure could be used for early game and late gamer wither I think branch is better for 6 player it doesn’t really better if ur use Quinn with it it’s super op with Quinn cuz it was aoe with of its 4 of its range if u don’t know what aoe is just say splash damge will u could use Frank but it isn’t that good if ur doing super hard bosses branch could be used for any game no matter what lure could be used I honestly think lure wins
Why is burst count even allowed? That is not fair , you will make more players be confused on choosing lure than scientist so please remove burst count
scientist is better for maps that require having a lot of points covered, like honeycomb heist, but lure is better for maps with less placement area or bosses who stun frequently.
