@@customlurepainter I really do like the ease of truecoat, but have seen alot of folks like Tamco which I've been wanting to try as well, and am glad you posted video on this mini spray gun..thats a good price.
Dear Mr Clark, - so good to See, that you are really enjoying using it - ohh I hope You might answer a question for me - I just bought one, second hand - and if I spray direct at a canvas 2 inches away, its not a round pattern, but its more of a "flat / squished ball"....If I hold the brush further away, it becomes more rounded.....If You spray directly at a flat surface - do You get an even round pattern? I fear my needle could be bent :/ Any answer will be SO much appreciated!
Could you please do a video on setting up this baby sprayer, and clean out process after spraying Tamco 9500. I use Revolt Flash automotive clear coat myself, and been spraying it out of a cheap .8 needle Master SB88. It sprays the clear very well, but I can only clear 12-15 baits at a time due to cup size. This would allow me to clear 30+ at a time. Thanks!
Thanks so much! How can you spray automotive 2k clear coat with a 0.8 nozzle, I mean, how much do you thin the paint,%? Thanks so much to share your incredible skills!
4:1, they have 3 activators to choose from depending on temperature and humidity. I went with midrange and it flashes in 10 minutes or so then another wet coat. Clean up with acetone
@@customlurepainter make sure your baits are prepped and clean of any & all containments. Do not spray any stuff like WD-40 around or in your shop until after the clear is 100% cured. Do not spray when the humidity is high or else the paint and clear will lift.
