Im in NEW Zealand, and back in the 2002-07 it was common for us to meet other writers on our train tracks, but not really nowadays its all internet. I have met maybe 10 writers while out painting some of them are crazy stories also

I’ll never understand why certain people act as it there’s a problem when it come to expecting other people to be interested in what they do. It’s usually newer writers tho, no one’s trying to play art critique or go out of their way to be disrespectful. You gotta look at it this way… I been doing what I do since 99-2000. Never took a break… seen alot of opportunities, expectations, consequences etc… at the end of the day you learn to just focus on what keeps you interested in whatever it is. More people need to bring new ideas/styles to the table maybe I dunno 🤷🏼‍♂️
