Lush you should be ashamed not paying your employees a living wage. The fact Lush had record profits in December and just increased product prices again, but can’t increase employee wages? You say you’re an ethical company, but delete comments opening a discussion about fair wages. Do better.

Thank you, I had no idea that was happening. I’ve been trying to get a seasonal job with Lush so I’ll keep this in mind. In California the mandatory minimum wage is $15/hour. It is almost implemented through the entire state. Shoot that explains it! I felt li,ke Lush was more expensive. The company raising their prices lines up.

How about not increasing prices for the 4th time in 2 years WITHOUT paying the employees a living wage?? How about letting employees unionise? You’re all about ethics until it’s employees you can get away with exploiting because you get no bragging rights for paying a living wage in the UK/USA.

Cool can you show us how to disenfranchise an entire workforce by breaking promises of a living wage, then immediately having them do a new product release in store the very next day with only a 12hr time limit to complete everything ? On top of a massive price increase? I’m dying to know!!

Thank you for sharing your feedback! At Lush, all of our hourly paid staff are paid above government minimum wage- But we don’t want to stop there! we aspire to be a Living Wage employer. In 2022, we invested more than $10 million in staff wages across North America to increase them further from the statutory minimum wage and bring them much closer to the Living Wage. We’re not there yet, we know it will take time, but we’re working hard to achieve this.

@@LUSH Lush this is NOT true. As a prior employee of Lush you LOWERED our wages in 2022 from above state minimum wage TO state minimum wage. All new hires are payed state minimum wage. The fact Lush is lying in these comments is insane.

Lush should be paying above a living wage to their employees. Another price increase and no increased wages for their employees who work hard to educate themselves and customers on the products, upsell, stock, organize, demonstrate, and do absolutely to make good sales. I will not buy another product from lush until they pay fair wages to all their employees and give good benefits.

It's so cool to see the process, it just goes to show how many hands and how much work goes into the making of a single product! With the recent price increases of many products, I hope Lush will be paying all these employees more to keep up with the rising cost of living. Lush's commitment to being an ethical company is really important, and it should definitely extend to compensation for the work these people do to make Lush possible!

At Lush, all of our hourly paid staff are paid above government minimum wage. Like all businesses, we’re experiencing cost rises in almost every aspect of our operations and supply chain. Increasing our product prices is part of how we are sustaining our business, making sure that all those along the supply chain are considered, and working towards our goal of becoming a Living Wage employer.

My friend works for Lush distribution centre and she makes way way above minimum wage. She got a raise from last year as well. We are in Canada so not sure if things are different in States.

I'll start buying from you again when you start paying your front line workers a decent wage. I know someone who's been a full time lead for over 5 years and they're still making only $15 an hour while training and pulling managerial duties. Your company comes off as all green and woke but you're no better than a big box store making billions off the backs of their employees. Shame on you!
