Glide the solid conditioner along wet hair, while avoiding getting the product under the water directly. After that you would massage in the product that is left on your hair from the solid bar, and then rinse through. This should leave your looking softer!

LUSH Cosmetics North America right now I am using Cynthia Sylvia Stout shampoo. This is quite lovely 😊. Conditioners are Veganese or Retread. Both of those feel really nice in the shower, but not when I get out. My hair feels very dry and tangled. I will then try some R&B, though the smell tends to give me a headache.

The reason your hair isn't feeling as soft as what you're used to when you get out of the shower is because Lush's conditioners don't contain silicones so you are not going to get the same effect as you do with other conditioners! Don't worry, though, just let your hair air dry and you'll be fine! c: I don't even have to use a brush to sort my hair out after the drying process, I just run my fingers through my hair and part it the way I want. c:

Typically sheep need to be shorn periodically for the health of their skin, since they are bred to grow wool indefinitely. Lanolin would be extracted from the wool after the sheep were shorn, so no sheep are harmed. Properly shorn sheep are no different than giving a dog a short haircut groom.

Jenna B cruelty-free typically means they don't test on animals. Also, it's not cruel to shear sheep. Just like it's not cruel to milk cows

Maddie K it is is cruel to forcibly impregnate that cow, take away her child and make it into veal when it’s born, then milk her for ours on end, stealing the milk that was meant for her baby.

they use lanolin which comes from wool. If you don't cut the wool off sheep it keeps growing until it's so long and coarse the sheep can't see or move. it's more humane to shear them than just let it grow forever.

TinyPrinceOfFluff only because they have been bred over hundreds of year to grow more and more wool by greedy people who perceive animals as objects. Further, these sheep are at farms that continue to bring more sheep into existence for the sole purpose of taking their wool. If demand declines, fewer sheep will be born into this unfortunate situation that we humans created. Google the term "mulesing" to find out just a part of what is wrong with the wool industry.

+Michael Harren a surgical procedure most often used in Australia that can be done by a professional, or an untrained induvidual if the owner is an idiot, to prevent sheep from dying from flystrike? I see how it's a bad thing (pain and stuff) but if the choice is death or pain, pain is more favourably in most cases.

I guess it's safe to assume you have a financial interest in the continuation of the exploitation of sheep?

daria morgendorpher In this video, Amanda mentioned that Veganese is one of our vegan conditioners-the others are Happy Happy Joy Joy and Big solid conditioner. Only these conditioners have the symbol that marks them as vegan. Sorry for any confusion!
