Going fast is great. Competition is great. But there remains something to be said about a car that really makes you feel like you're driving... and that's this E92 M3. Thanks Alex for letting me drive this thing!! Full Mod List below:

Crazy that you just posted this today. I picked up an E92 M3 last week and have spent the whole week reading up on how to set up the car. It wont' be my dedicated track car because the running costs are much higher than my BRZ, but this video is a perfect example what a driver focused track M3 should be. I'll try tracking the car a few times bone stock, but eventually use the standard bushings but get all the SPL arms to get the geometry right and improve the balance.

Biggest thing with E9x M3s is quality dampers, spherical front control arm bushings, and solid rear subframe bushings. If it won’t be a dedicated track car you should be alright with upgraded pads re: brakes. Most of those SPL arms are useless for correcting suspension geometry apart from the front lower control arms and tie rod ends. The rear SPL arms (apart from the toe arms) don’t do anything and aren’t adjusted beyond stock length.

I disagree with the SPL comment just because we have used it extensively on our Supra and we are well-aware of the difference they bring to the table.

The effect of these parts are very different on each car & setup. Stock parts with better bushings is a good way to go imo. SPL or compareable stuff can be combined for improvement afterwards. I did the other way round and paid twice, so can't recommend changing control arms first. Would rather go with adjustable strut mount coilovers & harder bushings. If track use gets more you can change parts at anytime!

@@JackieDing86 for the E9X m3 the biggest gain is in the front only, the rear diff upgrade and solid subframe mount is more beneficial for the rear. the only other and biggest positive mod is the off-set diff bushing which requires a lot of work.

That e92 is the perfect street/track setup. E92s are going to very quickly become classics with that S65 motor. Jackie - what're your thoughts on Chuckwalla vs Buttonwillow? I consider the two my "home" tracks with the most seat time at those two SoCal tracks.

I enjoyed both. Neither I think suits our Supra as much as I would like, and I’ll like them both more with a lightweight S2000 hah
