Alvin, your flight reviews are the most beautiful out there--and extremely informative. I really liked the split-screen at departure and arrival. I dislike the new Lufthansa livery to an almost irrational level; the lovely gold has gone completely, and it was a key element of their brand. That business class product has been unacceptable for many years now. No excuses, especially on a lovely A350. Thank you, as always, Alvin, for the time and care you put into your vlogs.
I always get a sense that the Lufthansa Business Class experience is a little underwhelming overall. However there is always the superb cinematography to compensate! Thanks for the care taken in presenting these videos Alvin.
Another wonderful flight review! I always love the quality of your videos and honest reviews of the product. I don’t understand why LH has persisted with a pretty dated business class product for so long but am glad they are refurbishing in the near future. Thanks for sharing your trip!
Love the older livery! I know its dated but when I think of Lufthansa I think of the old one! Also is this an older video because I flew Vancouver to Frankfurt on a 747-400 in the summer. Just wondering! Also thanks for making great videos, I love you unbiased opinions and positivity. I used to watch Nonstop Dan, but couldn't listen to his endless negativity. Thanks for the video; does not sound like a pleasant experience, just that it got you there. You and other RU-vidrs have been pointing out for years that business-class seats don't have air nozzles, as they do in other classes. This seems very deliberate on the part of numerous airlines. Has any reason been given for this? It would seem a person-focused, amenity-focused class would have more individual environmental options, not less.
Was on the same seats recently (invol reroute, booked on another airline which could not fly my route). Would you tell me why you think that seat is good? There was absolutely no storage space for my phone, ebook reader, anything. Sleeping was not comfortable at all (not enough legroom, and I am about average height!). And: you have to climb over someone sleeping next to you (or the other way round). For a paid ticket (J) it was not worth it. At all.

If so, was that inflight experience any different?
I prefer the old livery for it's recognisability and timelessness. It was introduced in the late 80s yet it still doesn't look outdated. The new one is elegant but a bit boring and it has nothing unique to it.
Just a little nit pick, you showed the Signature Suite, which is not the same as the Maple Leaf Lounge! Signature Suite a much more exclusive experience and has very specific admission criteria. Other than that, good video!
Ah yes, I originally had a voiceover saying that the signature suite was closed, but I had to cut it during editing. I can see that was confusing. Sorry about that!
@Onemoreweektogo no worries! I was also at the Dubai Expo BTW, was there in December 2021 & early January 2022. Loved it! Bought a 1:400 scale emirates A380 in the special Expo Dubai Blue livery at the Emirates pavilion!
@Onemoreweektogo aww dang. That's unfortunate. TBH you didn't miss much. The gift shop was the most exciting part. Kazakhstan, USA, UAE, Morocco, & Saudi pavilions were amazing. Wanted to check out Egypt, but wasn't able to. Switzerland's was cool too! Which one was your favourite? I hope you got the little yellow passport!!

The hard product is a total desaster. The seats are terrible and the whole product isn't worth any Euro. Maybe in some years when they have the new Allegris seats. But even than they have the same shitty Service and food.
