God Willing, I'll soon be returning to NJIT to study Software Developer studies, but I once had dreams of becoming a performer. I started tuning my singing voice by listening to the Temptations. But, it wasn't until recently I was turned on to listening to Mr. Vandross' catalog and his talent at singing can't even be LIGHTLY mimicked by anyone. Luther, Michael Jackson, Prince, Donny Hathaway, Teddy Pendergrass, Al Green, & Barry White are in categories by themselves. We'll miss those who've ascended, Al's still going strong, I could be mistaken, hope not, but you get my point.

This show is one of ten sold-out dates (115,000 people in total) that Luther did at Wembley Arena in March & April 1989 as part of his Any Love tour. I was at one of these shows! His vocal mastery was captivating, it was a privilege to be there ❤🇬🇧

September 2024 and 72 yrs old the best live concert of my life when I was 30 and I got to sway and dance with Luther while he sing Bad Boy I can see those beautiful eyes now I can watch and lisitening to his songs looking up to the Heaven to stars remember my late husband who passed 2017 from cancer but I’m not sad I can see us dancing to our favorite Luther songs and I know I will be dancing with him again one day Luther an angel so kind and humble never a bad word spoken against him I thank God for and for my Loving Joseph not sad but happy because God has blessed ❤

I had a friend who was friends with Luther's masseur during a tour in late April of 1986. The masseur got us backstage passes for a show at the Circle Star Theater in the SF Bay Area. We watched two shows that night and got to eat with Luther and the rest of the group in between shows. I was a 20 year old dork who couldn't appreciate how lucky I was to experience greatness in person. But I've appreciated it ever since. There's never been anyone like Luther Vandross.

For years this man sang on the backsidee of the mountain. In commerical gingles, he sang backgtound for many singers Chic and others, was a featured singer for the group Change. THEN and I do mean THEN we met him as Luther. So when we hear him we hear an abundance of talent, preparation and EXECUTTION. I saw him many times live and mesmerized each time.

Luther Vandross concert was the first Concert I have ever seen. In Greensboro, NC November 6,1988. He had the group MTume who sang Juicy Fruit. I will never forget it. Luther is a true Legend.

I saw Luther at the Civic Center in Birmingham AL...He was super on stage with all his actors for all of his great songs!!! We were all so young under 33!!!! So in love!!!! We were all about the same as Luther...He us back for Aretha...He was the Best in my Book , got all of his CDs!!!!!❤❤🎉🎉
