It was not a penalty. Players can challenge shoulder to shoulder as long as the ball is "within" playing distance. Within is down to the referees discretion/ opinion. It looked ok to me and more importantly ok to the referee. 💁‍♂️

Muskwe needs to put a few more balls into the six yard box instead of going for glory every time. But a good point against the team at the top, indeed, we could have had all three.

Lover of the glorious Luton Town here. Have to say…Fulham’s penalty shout with Bradley’s handball…how on earth has the ref not given Fulham a penalty there? For me to write that after 51 years of being a loyal Lutoner is unique. Every decision should go our way cos I’m extremely biased toward the glorious Hatters. But a Championship ref to miss that, the most blatantly obvious handball, is staggering. Our shout towards the end should have been a penalty too….that’s two honest options in one comment! Weed eh! Why are our refs not blessed with the gift of eyeballs? At least the scum BBC are showing (and paying £85,000 to both clubs) ManUtd v Aston Villa in the FACup. It’s about time we watched Man Utd. Actually it’ll be very interesting to watch their second team because Glory clubs save their players for real competitions. Thanks BBC for not killing that magic of the FACup. Even now most professional clubs (70%+) record attendances are from FACup games. Including ours. And the yellow belly b@stards. Real fans need to take some power back from the corrupt FA. Financial Fair Play rules are a disgrace. One example would be the money teams get when relegated from the PL. Today Fulham’s twat scorer Mitrovic is valued at more than our ENTIRE SQUAD. Another example. Football is about our local clubs. How many clubs now have no local players? Athletic Bilbao only use local players. That should be the way we go. It’d give us more pride and fight and any little benefit can make the difference can’t it. So if the scum FA won’t insist on a quota of local players having to be on the pitch at any one time…8 locals is what I’d love to see…can’t we do it on our own? Athletic Bilbao don’t do too bad. UEFA Cup holders I think. We promote shame in being a glory hunter. They think they’re fans but are harming football. Surely proved by seeing how empty Championship stadiums are becoming. Last example. It should be made a rule that we must hate watfud. Don’t I go on. COYH

It was not a pen. Ball hit his thigh first and Bradley had his hand out stretched for balance so not considered an unnatural position.
@thomasgray5406
@thomasgray5406 2 года назад
Much of what you say is true, and you are probably of a similar vintage to me. I'll start with the obvious: no rule required to hate Watfud as de facto we.already do! The hope for a quota of local players is forlorn as the logistics and culture of regional sources can never be reintroduced and the circumstances in Spain are markedly different; paradoxically, we would suffer from such prescription because advanced scouting and lucrative deals mean that local talent, especially in cities such as London, is largely gobbled up by the wealthier clubs, gone are the days when we could get a steady feed of gems from Bedford, Hitchin, Edgware etc. We have to source players across the UK who we judge as having the potential to develop or have been rejected by clubs. The introduction of a stupid number of substitutes has also added to the polarisation of squad values and to the lower availability of decent players, the days of versatile utility players have largely gone, many players are happy to warm benches or languish in reserves providing their wallets are suitably fat and the skills of managers like Pleat and, dare I say it, Taylor, would be compromised in their innovative ways to beat the opposition. There should be no more than two subs on benches and the farce of international friendlies in which fifty subs (or whatever) are allowed epitomises this nonsense as well as devaluing caps. Mitrovic's transfer fee is roughly ten times the aggregate transfer fees of our squad: our declared twenty five contain nineteen free transfers. I prefer to look at acquisition costs and wages because they're objective whereas the term 'market value' is speculative as Derby have found out in using Transfermarket as the basis of player valuation in the Balance Sheet to distort key ratios. Our squad costs are similar to those of Blackpool and Coventry. There also should be greater restriction on loans, I know QPR have an excellent manager and their squad didn't cost much (acquisition, at least) but they have something like eight players on loan which is ridiculous. I wouldn't thank the BBC for preserving any tradition, it was integral itself in the demise of the popularity of the two main domestic cups and was active in the introduction of the Premiership (now Premier League, before someone snarls at me). It preaches grass roots football but concentrates almost exclusuvely on the Prem even in its radio programmes; it gives women's football more exposure than it does to EFL clubs. Your '70+%' reference is true but mainly because that inevitably relates to hundreds of clubs in lower leagues, it doesn't apply very much to the top flight; if it did, they would have a greater incentive to take the domestic cups more seriously. I think in the main four leagues, Luton, Newport and AFC Wimbledon are the only three formally listed as supporter financed; some, such as Wycombe, are listed as as being officially financed by partial or full 'supporter trusts' but that's not the same thing.

@@balkanvaping West Ham are doing very well and David Moyes is an excellent manager. Manchester United made a big mistake letting him go. I hope you remember Radomir Antic, he was a great manager, great person, very cultured and was loved by Luton supporters. He did a brilliant job for Serbia and I really wanted Serbia to get further in the World Cup just because he was the manager. Unfortunately, he died in 2020.
