great one. I have fears to the electric outlet. it is because when I was a kid and I plugged a can-opener to a live electric outlet and burned down the plug. I have been stayed away on doing any DIY like this video. I am ok with all battery-powered devices. haha
Is a bridge necessary to control the switch remotely from the app? Also, if I have multiple switches, can they be controlled remotely with the app, or is a bridge required in that case?
We looked into the model of the lutron switch you specified. Looks like it doesn't work with the Lutron Caseta bridge. In any case, we didn't try to use Alexa for our devices so we are not sure if the bridge works with Alexa. We use Google Home.
WHY THE HELL do I need to create an account?! Can I install it without repeater? I don't need useless firmware updates and un-plug it every time they release a new firmware.
