About the music:
This piece was inspired by Biblical texts such as St. John’s Gospel: 8:12, 14:6 and Daniel 3:72-73. It is a song to praise God, the Light of Life and to give us hope that in following Him, we shall find eternal happiness. It is a song to give heart to the discouraged, and to inspire people to accomplish great things for our world. We think it is important to remember today that the light will outshine the darkness.
This piece was first written back in 2010, and has been through several alterations along the way. It was written in the context of a play about the Crusades, and so it is meant to capture several aspects of those times and places. We are happy to finally release this piece to our listeners!
