We toured the plant Oct. 24, 2020 and Jerry was great to work with. Saved the 44FL for last and all 3 couples agreed on same rigs. It looks like in the end all of us are planning on same floor plan.
😂 Yeah Ron, it was beautiful, but at this point we're going to keep the SxS. It's fun to see what else is out there though. Thanks for coming along - have a great weekend!
A very beautiful rig. If we ever went the fifth wheel route, wife already said it would have to have the front living room. I cannot believe the storage in this one especially in the kitchen.
Thank you for sharing video. What a completely beautiful rig. The master bathroom is great, along with 1/2 bath. Please be save out there. Thank you again.
Really stunning LUXE! Bet it was tempting! One has to have their toys for fun though it always comes down to a give and take.....Stay Safe and Healthy!
What a great floor plan. Haven’t seen anything like it before. Love all the windows in the kitchen plus counters and storage. That price is crazy, though! Glad we’re quite comfy in our Solitude. Thanks for the tour!
Huge rig! There certainly is a lot of storage, though they could cut 4’ off & still have room to spare. Not a fan of opulence, especially in a trailer, though I would appreciate the fridge & washer/dryer! For those tall cabinets you could add shelves instead of just stacking bins/baskets.
Hi guys..thanks for the video...very nice...I think we are still DRV fans...especially now that it's paid for...lol...😁😁...no payments has a way of making our 2015 still look good...😂😂...you guys take care and be safe.. thanks again...J&A
Agreed Alex....there's something about PAID FOR that puts a warm and fuzzy feeling in your heart! 😉 Hope all is well with you two. Have a great weekend!
We love the front living room layout in our ‘17 Montana 3710. It has 6 slides and the living room has a large sectional with theatre chair on the end. Looks more spacious and better for entertaining than having 3 separate loveseats. Curved ceiling as well really adds spaciousness. Front curved glass window in the cap adds to this as well. We’d love this layout in a Luxe brand fit and finish.
I haven/t been able to see one yet. The windows look small and I’m wondering if it had an open or closed in feel? Do the windows in the living room bring light into the kitchen? Is the master bathroom deep enough? The half bath vanity seems like it’d be difficult to wash your face without hitting your head on the upper cabinets? Somethings are difficult to see on video. We can’t get away to go view one so any input (positive or negative) would be so helpful. Thanks so much!
Hey Cheryl....if we were looking for a front living coach, this one was VERY NICE. it did feel open and spacious. The master bath felt HUGE and was tastefully done. In Kellie's words....."we could put this on a piece of property and I'd be happy" 😂😂😂
@@SuiteTravels thanks for always answering. We are also talking to Cole to see if he can do a custom toy hauler with a small garage (for Harley) and large kitchen/living area plus 1/2 bath since that would be ideal. If not, then we'll most likely go with Luxe. Deb is also seeing if she can find someone in AZ that will let us walk through theirs. How are you making out with your custom TH? Good luck and thanks again!
Great video. When you were in the kitchen area was there enough light and a feeling of openness? I just wonder wear to put laundry detergents since cabinets were so high up. Was the half bath functional for a husband to shave in and wash up? Do you know the cost? Thanks! Nice that you opened all the cabinets!!!
This coach was very open and seemed to have lots of light! We would probably put laundry detergents in the tall cabinet above the broom closet. You'd need a step stool to reach, but ample room for something you wouldn't need to get to very often. The bathroom was very large and roomy too...plenty of room - and did you see the shower? Jim is 6'4" and you can see how much room he had! Thanks for the nice words.
Thanks for posting this video. We have looked at a bunch of different coaches our the past three years. While we are spending more money than we anticipated our New Horizons is being built to be our last coach. Go to an RV show and compare the difference. Inside is one thing, the underpinnings is where the true difference is. I wish you nothing but the best in your search.
Thanks Chip. Couldn't agree more. Once you get through the "fluff" on some units you find the build quality isn't as it should be. New Horizons makes a really nice coach. Hopefully your build date isn't pushed back too far. We're hoping to meet with them once we can start traveling again.
Suite Travels, as of 03. April.2020 New Horizons shut down for 3 weeks. So... a small crew is there getting things done so we shall see. The more important thing is people are healthy. We currently have our Redwood to live in and NH has been responding to questions we have. Shipping/receiving has been receiving things for us and letting us know. We are extremely excited about this build and it’s been three to four years in the making. That said it’s like building a house, full of decisions and discussions. I would also like to point out that NH (on their website) has a customer portal that they post pictures along the way so you can see your coach being built. I know there are other custom coaches out there and yes they are expensive however people need to remember, you get what you want, modify the floorplan you like, and listen to some real life experience of people that have been doing this for many years. I will be really curious to hear your thoughts. Be looking for us in June/July (fingers crossed) and I will post a video of ours. It will be empty (all of our furniture is in Florida) and we chose to be very nondescript but we really wanted quality to last us 20 plus years. And, since I have seen you in snow, check out the minus 10 degree guarantee. Be well, be safe and enjoy the journey.
Absolutely love it! BUT it’s just too long! Ours is 40’ and we’re limited at times as to where to pull into a small gas station or a lot of Forest Service campgrounds cannot accommodate our 40 footer. So we’re seriously looking to downsize. We love to experience all types of glamping. Not just luxurious campgrounds!
You're right Lynn. Everyone needs to decide what's important and works for them. As we say...it's all a trade-off. Thanks for coming along and be blessed!
Hey you all, that's a beauty. But where are ya gonna go at the end of April? There are plenty of empty sites here in Texas owned by folks that went back home up north for the summer. Love to see ya here.
Hey guys....would love to come and visit, but we need to be placed to allow us to go north as soon as we're allowed to. Hope all is well and you're staying positive! Stay in touch 😎
Agreed....the cost is a little hard to swallow, but if you're in the market for this type of coach none of them are inexpensive. We never did ask about warranty work - we'll have to ask Deb when we talk to her again.
LOVE this rig... Question. What happened to cause you to stop towing your Can-Am and start looking for a toy hauler? Was there an issue with towing it? Just wondering because I have no choice but to tow because I can't use a smart car, and the car I have picked out is a little too heavy to go inside the LUXE 48.5 toy hauler. Is there a legal issue, or backing-up issue with this?
Hi Lisa. "Double Towing" is a unique experience. First, there are some states that don't allow it - but I suppose you could disconnect and drive separate in those states with a car. We couldn't do that with our CanAm. Most of the states west of the Mississippi allow double tow except Washington and Oregon. Out east it's a different story...and traffic is terrible out east as well. Backing is an issue. It's almost impossible to accomplish while double towing. If we stopped for a night and the only spot available was a back-in we'd have to disconnect, move the trailer and CanAm, back into the site for the night - then repeat the process in reverse the next morning. If there were pull-through's it was easier, but while hooked up we were 84 feet long and finding a 90' pull-through is a little tough sometimes. Also, while traveling, if we needed to stop at a store for groceries we needed to be very careful to make sure we could get into the lot and find a place to park. Then we needed to find an exit. I think you get the idea....it's just going to be easier for us with a toy hauler. We have a good friend that double tows with their Jeep and they seem to be fine with it. Feel free to email us with questions or comments. Really appreciate you coming along and we're more than willing to help....that's what this community is all about!
@@SuiteTravels Thanks for all the info. I have decided to call 'RVM Lifestyles' and have a HDT specially made to fit the 'Mini Cooper Countryman' I plan on buying. I'll just have them leave the sleeping area out so the flat bed will be longer. I will also go with the LUXE 48.5 toy hauler and have it specially made, cabinets added ect and then I can put my golf cart in the garage. Seems like the best and easiest approach. Thanks again! Have fun in your travels. If you end up in North-western Colorado, let me know. Would love to meet you both.
Nice lay out and fantastic RV but you missed opening a few doors I wonder if your wrist is hurting from opening all the doors and drawers. Where you looking for something. Guys, next video how about not opening the cabinets a lot of wasted video, more on how it’s made and type of construction and price and features like water tank and waste tanks. Had to stop watching , sorry but waste of footage. It’s what they call fill ins when you don’t have much to say.
Interesting concept....but we've had a number of viewers compliment us on the fact that we DO open the cupboard doors and show the actual storage abilities of coaches for full time rv life. Thanks for watching!
It sure was big enough for two sinks Johathan! I'm sure they would be able to build you one just as you want 😉. Thanks for coming along....have a great weekend!
We would agree with you Ken....except there's no place to put our toy 😮. We tend to research quite a bit - there's got to be a floor plan out there that fits our needs. Thanks for coming along!
