As much as I love simplynailogical, people really need to quite commenting about her. This is Natasha Lee's video and she did an amazing job. I'm subscribing.
I cant even grow my nails, and here I am binge watching nail tutorials that I cant do, this is STUNNING, honestly the best tutorial ive seen on youtube 👏
geekista ... I couldn't grow my nails either and a friend of mine suggested I get a full set of acrylics which I did .. that was omg 15yrs ago now.. my nails grew SOOOO fast and so long!! I maybe got them filled 3 times after that and now I just get a manicure with a gel like hardening top-coat to keep them strong, but my nails are long strong and gorgeous!! ... I'm definitely going to try this matte blue color .. its SO pretty and its KY blue colors which is where I grew up so how could I not! :) .. but seriously.. the acrylics worked for me, so why not give it a try, it just may work fr you to! Good Luck! :)
I tried the Aruba Blue with the matte top coat and it come out exactly like the video. The color is gorgeous. Warning: it was kind if hard to take off. Not as bad as glitter polish but it took a lot of scrubbing with remover.
I'm amazed that there are so many comments like "She's copying Cristine!" and "That saying is from Cristine!", etc. They are nail products. She did not make them, she only uses them. Just like a lot of other nail artists. It's like saying, "Wow, you're speaking the English language! You're a copycat!"
I finally bought myself some Essie Aruba Blue so I can do this mani. Everytime I went to Boots, my darling daughter would distract me and I'd forget to pick it up. Was in Boots alone when I tracked down Aruba Blue like some sort of nail varnish fiend. Was the last bottle too 😁
Even though I LOVE Cristine it's so annoying to find comments about holo or simply peel everywhere. Those blue nails are amazing. Has nobody noticed that?
Such beautiful and tasteful nails. This is the first time I have seen something on RU-vid about fingernails where it is tasteful in design. I can imagine these in red at Christmas. I'm following you because you win best design award.
"peel of simply peel like no big deal" is an insider by Simplynailogical since she uses it in almost every video and mani. I absolutely adore these nails, they are so pretty!
Oh my days Natasha these are stunning,I love them so Much I've just purchased some of the blue polish "Oops" naughty me hehehe. Absolutely gorgeous. Tfs oxox
+Natasha Lee all I need now are some Swarovski crystals and I'm good to go but aren't they expensive lol ah well,I don't smoke or drink so it's my treat to myself. Ssshhhh don't tell the hubster. Hehehe oxoxox
If you have a look at the description there's links to small packs that are only a few pounds. I buy in bulk of 1440 at a time and they last for months and months but they are rather pricey xxx
I love those, they're very elegant ^^ not going to mention anything about Simplynailogical because I think people need to chill out about that. This is your channel and tbh people should focus on your stuff, not someone else's. You can't really say "peel of base coat" or "holo nail polish" without getting your channel invaded. I love both your and Simplynailogical's work, but people need to chill out.
I'm so sorry you have to deal with all this junk. People tend to forget that "holo" is short for "holographic" and it can also be Simplynailogical's slogan, but still, persistent fans need to calm down.
+Phoebe Williams is not the the tools and stuff belong to simplynailogical is that we holo sexuals love her and those things make us think about her, also she is the best not only for her nails but because she is really entertaining im a guy who is a nail biter and because of her now i want to stop that and paint my nails holo lol.
+Kitty Kat yeah. I wanted to say something about the actual video (that's the point) but I felt like I needed to bring attention to the the topic of her channel being invaded. I feel pretty bad for her tbh.
Yeah right! Lady at the nail salon complained to the moon and back while removing an old louboutin design. If I showed up with rhinestones, they would probably treat me like garbage. It's a stunning look, my tacky Russian heart is loving the new twist on the nail bling, but this is definitely the job I would be taking to a private nail artist, not a salon. It will cost me $100 minimum but it will be worth it. Thank you for sharing!
Oh those are amazing! I need to grow my nails out some more and get some Gel II Sky scraper Gel just to make these happen!😍 Have you ever tried the INM fast dry top coat? It seriously dries in around 40 seconds - it's amazing! Lovely and shiny too. I've definitely need to get a similar blue - it's gorgeous 😍
A cheap alternative to the essie polish is an essence the gel polish blue color in this shade. I don't have the bottle with atm but you'll notice it. Essence is much cheaper bur you don't get the same sparkle effect. Though in this case you won't need it. Hope this helps! 😊
Thank you Lucy, the Skyscraper Gel is amazing! No I haven't tried that top coat but you know I'm going to have to now!! It is a beautiful blue, I have so many Essie colours as they are so pretty xxx
They're basically all I use but I have bought 3 bottles of white and 2 of black already because I use them so much. They're 2 dollars so that's more convenient than essie as it is 12 dollars here -,-" xxx
Oh, I love that vibrant blue from essence. But the blue does need two coats to be fully opaque. If you want subtle sparkles just put a top coat on it (Maybe china glaze-fairy dust? even though it's more expensive). But both the white and the black essence are my absolute favorites. Opaque in one coat, great application, and all this at a very low price...
u use a peel of base coat? u use simply peel? the next step for u is to love holo and your a simply nailogical fan ( as i say this im not saying ur a simplynailogical wannabe ) here, que the song: How deep is your holo, Is it like the ocean, Rainbow and motion, How deep is your holo, Is it like Navana, Unlike shimmer polish I shine harder, Again, How deep is your holo, How deep is your holo ( Repeat Last Line And Fade The Words.Stop Once Words Have Completely Faded Out )
So I was desperate to get this look , now I will be having a professional do them for my son's wedding but I am totally inlove with the matte finish. I am wearing purple and black velvet on the day so I tried with a deep purple nail polish and I love it , thank you for giving me the idea so now I can do it when I want without it costing the earth . Thanks xoxoxo
+Molly Mayor I'm so glad that it's helped you. I'd love to see pictures if you do it and I hope you your son and his partner have a perfect and magical day xx
+Natasha Lee thanks Natasha . I'm sure it will be a great day. I have so many local nail stores. Can you give me a hint on how to know a great nail artist from a cheap $30 set? So many stores just seem to be the junk food kind , fast and unsatisfying lol so what's a great store compared to a cheap store xoxoxo love you wish you were here in Sydney Australia
+Natasha Lee wow thank you so much. There are plenty here in Penrith the town I live in but most are like fast food. You know in out and I'm sure if they could do it as a drive by they would .... Thanks for getting back to me sweetheart much appriciated.
+Molly Mayor ok my friend Kate Dix (check out her channel) said that Skye MacIntyre is in Penrith and is excellent and I too have seen her work and it's amazing (I have her on Facebook) m.facebook.com/skyemcintyrenailstylist/
I really appreciate when you share your mistakes with us, I think it's a sign of a really good teacher to share what went wrong and how they resolved the problem. Utterly gorgeous nails, I'm going to have to buy all of the products and recreate it on my own nails once they finish growing out!
wow can't believe simplynailogical invented nail polish... Children, please. A popular youtuber nail artist does not own the usage/rights to all the basic and common tools most nail artists use. Chill and go do some homework. Love the video. Ugh it's so fancy and classy!! Honestly a breath of fresh air, too many RU-vidrs these days catch on to trends and I'm tired of seeing the same nail videos *cough* holographic powder *cough*
You'd be surprised how many professional nail techs have a few if not all of those things because when we find something we like, we share the info . After all, these places wouldn't be in business if only one person bought their stuff 😉
even tho i am a simplenailogical subscriber i think it is really disrespectful to mention her underneath every other nail tutorial video. This is not Cristine's channel so it shouldn't be about her.
+serelyac right I mean I like her but the comments on other youtubers shouldn't be just her it should be how gorgeous these blue and shiny nails are. I love them
Please learn how to spell before insulting a fabulous nail artist. Holo, simply peel, etc are popular in the nail art community because they are gorgeous products. Not everybody is a clone of cristine if they use the same products as her.
Mine were the same until I started using a gel over the top of them to strengthen them. I have a video featuring the secrets behind my long strong nails xx
Kyla Browne , u r right. not only food , but any other particles struck which we dnt like to c even after coming out of d washroom, den how oddddddddddd
My absolutely favorite mattes are deep red, burgundy, dark blue & deep green. They all look like VELVET ❤ Holo Taco was my 1st matte ❤ & I JUST bought Modelone's gel matte top coat that I'll be trying very soon. Can't wait 😀❤
Just because Christine raves about something, doesn't mean she's the first person to use it, I'm sure the products she's gotten or has been given is used by so many other people too. It's how you use those products that matters. So again I ask who cares????
"Apply simply peel like no big deal. take a dash of holo in a flash. then peel it off when it gets tough" Kristine if only you could look at me now I've become a real holosexual.(means you love holographic glitter)
Can you please send me a link to the gel that you use to protect your natural nails? I find that unless I keep my nails short, I get chipping after a few days. My nails are a bit flimsy.
Christina Reina hi Christina. I have a video released not long after this one called "My Secrets For Long Strong Nails" and it features links to all the products I use xxx
this feels like I would see it at a ball... or in the real life version of the movie Anastasia! I'm in love! its so... elegant but elegant isn't the right word. hmmm... ROYAL! Yes. the royalty of nails
You use a peel-off base coat to make removing the polish/design/glitter/etc. easier when you want to change it. You don't have to stick your fingers in nail polish remover, use pure acetone, or scrape it off.
Well, in my case, more polish changes means more practice, practice, practice! and I get to peel off mistakes quickly, too. But they do not last as long, and you have to be sure not to overpaint onto your skin because then you'll get lifting even sooner. If you want a lasting polish, recommend a tech or salon. Peel off is great for us self-polishers.
