I initially thought it was a bad joke about Jewish stereotypes, but then realised they were serious… My second thought was I may have missed the opportunity to become a Real Estate agent in Sydney, only to realise that commission is only 1.8 to 2.5%… My conclusion is, this series is merely a fake infotainment, promoting uninteresting wannabe people, with big ego, borrowing luxury goods, to pretend and self promote… It’s a pity, I love real estate.

Commissions in the US are typically 4-6%. However, this show is no different from its American counterparts.

Yes same in Europe 4 to 5%, but checked and Sydney is lower and Singapore where I live is 1%. Anyway, it’s a pity I love to watch properties, but those guys in the show are just unbearable. I can’t watch… cheers! :-)

@@jeanpierre3359 It is enough because we charge 5% from the seller as well as 5% from the buyer. So that makes it 10%. If I sell property worth 20 million dollars, I get the commission of 1 million dollar and that is one property and we sell more than 200 properties each year.

The most beige people who sell beige/ copper ceilinged, astronomically priced, meringue split level boxes. I found it disgusting the amount of money discussed. Personalities/ character missing for all these people… most boring people using “amaaazing vibes”adjectives to sell the most expensive “boxes” with the same decor… Not for me…too… beige.

Forget Nile Niami and his $300-500M pile of bricks in LA - or the countless mega-mansions that surround it - Sydney is clearly the place to be if you're a Chinese billionaire who needs somewhere to stash his kids away from the long arm of the CCP ;) (to be fair, NSW wasn't in lockdown when this was filmed so I'll cut them some slack)
