last year was a very sad time for Ronaldo. losing his child and learning about his wife's miscarriages, it was surely an awful period for both of them. it puts into perspective his struggles with United at the end. it's good to see him happy and playing well again. excellent performance by him and the whole squad.
Portugal has so many good forwards that they can use him as an impact sun off the bench, he has started games for them but the best games he has are always off the bench when he’s free to run against already tired legs.
Let’s not look too much into this. Love seeing Ronaldo smiling and enjoying his football. I hope he is still playing like this next summer. I’m sure Martinez has told him if you play like this you’ll always have a spot in the team
I think they're worried about him getting injured if he plays the whole game. His play style makes defenders do reckless things. He's so clutch when he can come in at 60-70 minutes and just burn everyone who's tired
@@stingray10 the hate 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️. Any other player scoring that we are calling that a wonderful goal with the footwork before pinpoint finish🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
dude, it's luxembourg... always remember messi's 5 goals against estonia... messi definitely would have more international goals had argentina been an european country...
Santos was never a great coach, he was good for allowing ronaldo to do his thing for so long but lost his way especially when he doubted his main man on the big stage. Ronaldo pulls at least two defenders at a time which is a constant advantage for any team. Ronaldo has always lead portugal which is why he is always the captain, man’s even coached to win the euros after he was injured. Santos leaving was nothing but a good decision
lmao why? He scored one tap in and had a decent second goal against Luxembourg. Modric is just a few months younger than Ronaldo but for the last 4 years has been a much better player than Ronaldo
Fox didn’t cover their last game, guess they saw how much Ronaldo and Portugal bring to your TV. You’re welcome, my goat is doing what he does best in Euros
TBH, although I love Ronaldo's beautiful goals, as far as I am concerned, Bernardo Silva is the core to the team. Almost every goal was related to his contribution.
