I used to work there too. In reservations from 2005 to 2008 when MGM Resorts took all the reservations agents from all their properties and put us in one building, cross trained us. I had to quit this past January due to becoming disabled. I miss it very much

Love the Luxor! Thank you for this great tour. I visited it back when it was brand new in December 1993. It had only been open for around 3 months. As a teenager, I loved the Sega Arcade. I believe it's where the esports arena is now.

I will be back next week and can't wait. I plan to visit all the properties I didnt get to visit last time and Luxor is on my list. Thank you for another awesome video! You guys are the best :) I have stayed at Luxor in the pyramid three times... the first in 1995. I loved it back then... the Nile River Ride was so unique. King Tuts Tomb and the 3D ride were so fun! I love the inclinators. Looking out into the atrium from the higher levels is cool too, and a little scary. The Egyptian theme was what made it so cool! Why would they take the awesome Egyptian theme out of a pyramid shaped hotel/casino named Luxor... doesn't make sense to me. But I still love it! :)

I loved (and still love) everything Egyptian about the Luxor, including the Nile River (all that gorgeous art on the walls as you drifted by!), and King Tut’s treasures, and Nefertiti’s Lounge... And yep, we said the same thing: how could you remove the Egypt, from a pyramid? Lol...

I love Las Vegas. My very first Las Vegas Experience as a kid in the 80s, my parents, my grandparents and I stayed at the Flamingo Hilton. Gosh so much has change. I love this video. Ok so I ran across this video two days ago, and I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I have been watching the videos on your channel and I like them and I subscribed to your channel. My second favorite hotel on the strip. My favorite one is The Venetian. The outside of The Luxor pyramid looks so stealthy and elegant, maybe a little plain to some people, but at night it steals the show with the light beam.
First went there when I was 8 years old, I remember the water ride, I miss the 90s. I stayed at the Luxor 3 times in 2019 so much has changed, but I still love the place (even though front desk angered me last visit). Feb trip is either Cromwell or Mirage.

I stayed at the Luxor back in 2013. For my 21st birthday. I really enjoyed it. I’m going back to Vegas in June I can’t wait. Great video I enjoyed it. Great info for tourists that are going to Vegas for the first time.

I stayed here last February (2020) I loved it, I also visited the Titanic Exhibit and saw Fantasy. Really recommend both. I loved my stay, but I’m so sad they dethemed it so much, I saw this for the first time in 1995 (when I was 12) and remember the Nile ride, which unfortunately I never went on, and the buffet was on the mezzanine level.
We are so glad you got to stay so recently, before the lockdown and closures - hope it was a good memory for you! And yeah, the loss of the theme, particularly the Nile ride and Nefertiti’s Lounge...we still aren’t over that...

I’ve always wanted to stay at the the Luxor. So the next time I came out to Vegas for the rock n roll marathon (awful 26.2 miles lol), I stayed at the Luxor. I was so excited to stay in the pyramid but the lady at the front upgraded me from the pyramid to the towers. Lol. Oh well, still had a blast....until after the marathon.
Staying at the Luxor in May with 3 of my friends. Ths video gave me a great flavor for what its gonna be like. More visually pleasing than I remember when I went 4 years ago. Didnt stay there (was at Excalibur), but I did see the Titanic exhibit - which I enjoyed. Very emotional and moving experience. Gonna see Fantasy and Carrot Top this time. Thanks for the excellent video!!

I've stayed at the Luxor and I absolutely love it!! It's one of the best bargains on the strip and the Aurora Bar is a favorite of mine. Perfect spot to have a great drink and people watch.

The immersion of Egypt was pretty cool in the 90's. The Queen barge boat ride, the simulator ride, that Awesome Egyptian art gift shop. A neat place... I would like to see it be more Egyptian than generic though... because it is a pyramid.
