The style of the room is quite old ... but the pool, MAGNIFICENT! Amsterdam ... a city of which I will keep only beautiful memories! Have you had the opportunity to experiment with coffee shops? 😁

We actually enjoyed the style of the room. Kind of a romantic feel to it and very French. We opted not to go to the coffee shops because we're just not into it and I can't stand the smell😁

It's all about that view! I can't even imagine how much that place costs being right down by the canal like that! Love the wallpaper and hope you had time to try out the awesome pool.

We forgot to bring our bathing suits so didn't get to enjoy the pool but hopefully we'll get to come back to test out the pool next time😁

Wow, such a large room....even a towel room, haha so fun. That pool looks amazing. Yes, wave to all your fans on your grand staircase entrance girl :) Yes, rainfall shower, I love those. Oooh, the little nook is so cute! Love the views and windows.

Wow that view is incredible! I don't know how I'd ever leave the room with a view like that! So beautiful, hopefully we can visit for ourselves someday!

Not only would I wave and saunter down that staircase, I'd probably put on a twirly skirt just to do it. LOL. Check out that shower with a view! I'd probably like the waterfall shower just because I'm so short. The wall-mounted nozzles will spray me in the face unless I angle them all the way down. I love all the toile. It would look ridiculous in my home, but it looks perfect there. I've never seen an elevator seat. Neat!

Really in depth hotel room review, that was well done. Amazing view from the shower room! Though it seems a bizarre place to put a window. I like the wallpaper in the room too.

@@travelpockets Yes, I was so lucky because my partner was working for the company that own this hotel, so we stayed in many 5 star hotels, at a very reduced price. But out of all the hotels we stayed in, all over Europe, this one stands out. The warmth of the staff, especially the concierges, was really lovely. One morning I asked the breakfast staff what was in the fresh fruit cocktail, and the next minute, they bring out the chef to explain to me how he makes it! What service :o) Glad you enjoyed it too.

what is the price of the hotel per night?

Starting at 380, but not with a canal view. I'm considering staying in this hotel next month. Intercontinental Hotel Group is really good. Not the greatest customer service but their product is superior. It's all about the bed quality. Even their low end Holiday Inns have good bed quality.
