I love that you shared details as to why these items didn’t work for you. It’s helpful for some of us that may be thinking about purchasing these items.
I have to say that I appreciate your honesty about this video and all your videos you do especially the one on how you purchase these luxury goods. You don’t come off as showing off your goods and your perspective is much appreciated . Thank you 💛
Love this video and especially love your outlook on the items you sold and why. Also I thought that sound in the video was a chew toy that Theodore was playing with 😅. Have a great weekend and love from NY!
Some loves are not meant to last. I totally understand Minnie! You can check out the Celine classic bag in the preloved market, it is so much cheaper but the strap is the same as the Givenchy bag. I wrap a cheap twilly around the buckle so it doesnt hurt anymore. You can also take the strap out and fit another strap too.
Totally agree with those items. Bottega bag chain is too chunky. I could imagine people heard the sound like broken glass😂. I am planning to sell some of my bags too, don’t want to keep them to collect the dust. Thank you so much for sharing darling 💕
Finally getting around to catching up on old videos! So great to hear your opinions on why things didn't work out. I'm so bummed for you on your mama baguette though! I also believe I may have dropped a comment on your original unboxing video of the 4G bag as I had the exact same issue with the strap. I contacted 2 locations and Holt Renfrew SA was so kind enough to send me an actual video of how to open the clasp! I was like NOPE this is not for me if I need to use that much strength to adjust it. It's such a bummer when the leather and the clasp together with the classic shape is stunning. Exactly the reason why I got, it was similar to the Celine. 😓 We move on to better things! TFS!
Your video is so much fun. I can see that you are in a good place in life which is wonderful to see. I also love that you can rock your luxury and contemporary items all the same. Great work ❤️
Yes Minnie when the bag straps don't stay locked in place !! I didn't want to carry a clutch today lol 😁. Those little things make you not want to use the items. Thank you for sharing. Have a great one Minnie 😊
Hi Minnie. Great video. Would you consider adding the purchased price and the resale amount you received? It would be interesting to see profit or loss across each category. .I have a lot of things I should sell, might be motivated if I knew what I would receive for it vs. cost.
Thanks for sharing! I was eyeing this LV sneakers but I kept holding back. LV shoes are so so expensive. Btw, have you heard that LV is discontinuing the monogram bumbag?! I’m truly baffled as this is so popular. I’m guessing LV is coming out with a new version at a higher price point. This bumbag is one of my ultimate favorite bags in my collection. It’s awesome. I’m glad I already have it.
Interesting video. Would have liked to know the losses and gains on selling your items. Useful to know which luxury goods hold their value and which don't. Thanks for the video. Have a good weekend.
You are so right!! I’m that person who needs to physically get the item in hand and use it to decide if I really love it or not. The givenchy antigona was one for me. I thought about it non stop and talked myself out of it a few times but I finally bought it and realized it wasn’t a forever piece for me.
I wanted those LV kicks and Givenchy box purse… you are saving me some coins! I have tried on the Front Row sneakers and they do fit funky…I was going to give it another shot. Thanks to this video, I’m walking away for good!
I bought the nice nano back in July from fashionphile and was soooo excited. When I got it, I was like, this is it? For me, I couldn’t justify over $800 for it, so I promptly returned it. I absolutely adore it still and still consider it, especially the next size up, but idk something just holds me back. I’m not really a makeup person so I wouldn’t really use it for that, which leaves me wondering if I would utilize it at all or would it just sit on my shelf. I’ve also returned the Neverfull (in the gm and mm sizes) twice and just bought it again 🙈. I think I finally determined I couldn’t live without it lol. Thank you making these videos - I love hearing your perspectives!
Hehe, sometimes it takes a couple times to see if it’ll work out right?! ♥️ Yay! Congrats on your Neverfull!! 🙌🏻🎉🎉 As for the Nice Nano, have you thought about using it as a Catchall in your bigger bags? I do use it for makeup here and there but definitely prefer to use it like I do the mini Pochette in my larger bags. ♥️
I'm so glad I found your video. My 4G has been sitting unused for months. I couldn't figure out how to adjust the strap. I tried contacting customer service but they were beyond unresponsive. Now I know to just use the bag as it and not to attempt to adjust the strap.
Thanks for sharing! It was interesting to hear about why you sold these items. As for me I have a difficult time to let go of items even if they aren’t working. It comes to a point where I have no room to store all this junk. Although I have sold a lot of items just to try to let go. I haven’t any regrets. To go into detail of why I sold certain things recently is a little personal. For instance, I sold 2 of my mothers LV bags that were in very good condition because of her relationship with me and my siblings. I also sold her LV wallet too. She is in a retirement home and couldn’t take all her stuff with her. I did keep the mini hl speedy. But compared to my things, I can’t let go. I’ll be taking them to the care home soon and it’ll all get stolen.lol
I’m thinking of selling my Chanel o zip coin purse to Fashionphile! I’m disappointed with how it’s wearing on the fabric around the zipper pull. I’ve only had it 4 months. Great video❤️
Wow Minnie I love that Chanel bracelet u sold it was lovely too bad it didn’t work out for you …I laughed so hard at ur lv shoes description..my God the picture u paint with your words .fantastic video once again !
I had a very similar story with my Loewe puzzle bag. I was so excited to get that bag and wanted to love it so much, I really love the silhouette. However the strap drove me nuts the excess strap was always flopping around and the little hoop to hold it into place was always moving around, so I decided to sell it and ended up taking a $1000 loss on that bag😫😫😫😫
I was going to reach out to you to ask about the new baguette. I don’t see you have it in your collection. Curious to know your thoughts. I love it, currently have the zucca print in medium and I’m very tempted to get the leather one. If you decide to get one please do a video! Thanks again
I love love love your videos! The great thing about luxury items is that we can resell, right? Question on shoes: how do you keep them white? I have the LV runway sneakers and it's always a struggle to clean the sole after I use them, I get super afraid that they will turn yellow forever 😩
Exactly, you can always sell if they don’t work out. ♥️ I actually don’t do anything to any of my shoes, I don’t even dust them off. 😬 I’ve heard some people use scotch guard on the runaways, especially since the suede can get dirty easily. I wish I could’ve been more help Love. ♥️
Love this Video Minnie, thanks!! Question please if it is not too invasive, where do you sell to? Is there someplace you prefer to sell the shoes and another for bags and jewelry? Do you sell to mainly one place, or a few different ones? Thank you!
Hi Babe! ♥️ Not invasive at all. ☺️ Sometimes I sell on my IG @minks4all or to consignment shops. Fashionphile is by far one of my favorite places to sell to, mostly due to the convenience and hassle free process. It just depends on the time I have. 💕🥰 Thanks for watching Love! 💋
Hi, Minnie! I feel the same about some bags, the latest I coveted so much is the Celine Besace, I bought it online and is much smaller than I thought! It’s hard for me to make it work although it’s so beautiful and the leather is so buttery soft 😫 I think it looks really too small and doesn’t fit my essentials , at all…
But we are always losing money when we sell, unless of course it's Chanel or Hermes, I guess. I'm not a pro but I try to only purchase what I know I'm going to love for a very long time. I have a question...that red puzzle bag behind you... I try to stay with LV, Gucci and Fendi. I'm old school and those to me are the "never get old" bags. I'm in love with the Loewe small puzzle and it's on it's way to me via Fedex tomorrow. I bought it from Bergdorf Goodman. They owed me 10% off plus Rakuten gave 10% so I got the bag for about $500 less. I'm still concerned because its not my usual brand. I never heard of Loewe until watching youtube reviews which I just started doing about 2 years ago. Am I going to be sorry I bought that puzzle bag??
I had the fendi too and I bought it long time ago. I did not use it because the snap is loosen. Don’t know if fendi can fix it. It’s still sitting in my closet
Hi! Also saw another blogger talking about the 4G bag, and she called the store as well to ask about the strap! Funny and sad that a lovely bag is such a pain 😂
Hi Minnie, yes it has happened to me. I bought DIOR CARO BELT POUCH WITH CHAIN. The CD charm won’t go through the tag they have on the back of the bag Because of that shoulder strap was off center . I try to look RU-vid video didn’t find any. So I also call Dior Sell associates she also try to find the video but there was none. Then she send me pic but it didn’t help. So I can relate the frustration, so much so that I had to return the bag I like due to the adjustment strap :(
Omg I would have bought the coco 555 brooch in a heartbeat. 5 is my favorite number and my anniversary is 5/5. Chihuahua. I just sent a bunch of stuff off to the real real. It feels so liberating.
I think watching your video made me decide to sell my ysl lou camera bag. I haven’t had it for more then a year and it started peeling. I tried contacting the repair center it took over 1 month to get a hold of them but for them to say their warranty does cover it and not only that but to get it repaired they send you to a different location that has nothing to do with the boutique. I lost the joy of using my bag and I wanted to add another bag to my collection from the boutique. What would you do ? But on a happy note I just added the lv multi pochette accesoires.
Givenchy has problems with their straps then. The Antigona strap comes undone on my bag and they resent me the exact same strap. So embarrassing to wear a bag and have the strap come undone and all your stuff on the ground.
I do have a question regarding the Louis Vuitton photo Album Card Case monogram canvas, if it is in a good condition cak anyone provide me with a price range that is reasonable to buy ?
I will sell things I don’t use and I fall in love and when I fall out it has to go. I also take it out for a last stroll and like you that seals the deal yes or no😘
I avoid bags with those types of straps. I had a beautiful bag with that type of strap and it would come undone and fall in the floor, grab hair and clothing. I had to get rid if mine too because I was literally angry with a handbag 🤦♀️😂 I don’t need that kind of stress in my life 💯😂
I'm desperate to sell my chanel trendy cc bag but I would live to sell it direct to the buyer instead of third party resellers. Any suggestions how to go about this? I'm already trying to sell it for 2 years!
It is awesome to know that you also find it ridiculous to pay $75-$150 for a costume jewelry repair. As much as I love Chanel, I think their charges are sometimes unreasonable. Thanks again for another great vid! Bless you more! ❤️
@@Minks4All Thank you , I live in Southern Cali too, I can relate to many things you do and feel. I’m considering starting a RU-vid channel too featuring my handbags, that will also help motivate me to wear and start rotating my handbags too 😊🤞!
