One thing I have listened to you say over the course of all of your declutters is the phrase "collector's purposes". Why don't you remove all of the products that you are holding onto but will never be using and put them in a separate set of display drawers. That will give you more room for your regular makeup and you could create a display that honors those things that you find important to collect. Collecting is very different than using and I think it is important to recognize the items that you collect and show them off.

I agree! I bought a ton of year of the rat stuff and I'm going to buy a shadowbox to display it all in. I'm also collecting all the clinique zodiac highlighters and if they actually do make all twelve after twelve years I will display them as well. I have zero intentions on using these, I just love Chinese zodiac stuff especially rat

Hi Michele! I'm an artist that makes works with expired and donated cosmetics. If you have anything that is not donatable/expired I would happily take it to work with. The only items I don't accept are those in tubes/with doe foot applicators and lip gloss. I then create sculptures out of the containers or recycle them through TerraCycle! Feel free to message me, I'd be happy to verify info any way that you need. Thanks for the fun content either way. It's nice to see someone regulate what they need often.

The Tom Ford lipsticks seem to go bad and smell weird after a year. The shortest shelf life of any of my lipsticks. 💄

I love the "sniff sniffs". I do that too. I had to declutter my lippies this last month. I threw out about nine of my Tom Fords. And some LE MACs. They smelled like "play doh". It made me cry inside.

One thing I learned in the last few years: never buy a Tom Ford lipstick except it's the only one you own and use it on a daily basis to make sure it's used up before going off.

I had one for a verynlong period of time and it's still fine, and then I got 3 of the boys which are smaller and they have been ok too, but then I live in colorado, we get 3 months of summer and is cold the rest of the year.

I loved this video. When I started back into makeup this year I decluttered all my lipsticks I had not purchased within the last year and started over. Some were so old I couldn’t remember when I got them-bad sign. My next lipstick purchase will be a Chanel. The one with the lipstick and gloss that is long wearing.

In your entire collection of Tom Ford lipsticks, I was shocked not to see True Coral! It’s one of the original colors from his cosmetics launch and continues to be the most perfect coral lipstick shade...I always have it in my bag.

I just purchased the Nars soft matte lip balm. I wanted to try it under my mask. I like wearing a tinted balm. I was hoping these would not be so messy underneath my mask. My son is playing football every week. Varsity high school football was pushed back to the spring in our state.

You can send Glambot (based in San Francisco) your decluttered bullet lipsticks-they sanitize at their facility and resell them on their site. Unfortunately, they don’t pay you much for the makeup you send in, but at least your lipsticks would have a “second life” for buyers who feel comfortable buying preowned cosmetics.

Hey Michele! Greetings from Tunisia! I Love your channel. Just a tip, Maybe You should try to arrange your lipsticks by brand sideways (right to left instead of front to back). Know what I mean? Instead of having Brands in the very front and then brands in the very back that You might not see well and therefore not use...Just a suggestion! :) Love the video!
