I love this bag! I got it Dec 2019 and I feel the same, don’t use the little pocket, adjusting the straps was a little difficult but it’s the cutest bag and can be used every day!!
I love this bag as well. I’m a causal person so I can wear this anytime I head out the door. It is surprisingly spacious. The front pocket I put hair ties in. You can also keep lip balm there, that’s what I like to use the small pocket as. And I agree it would be nice for a place for the phone, I normally keep it open lol but people tend to remind me it’s open (but I know because I keep it open 😅)
I picked this up a few months ago and it’s been one of my favorite LV purchases of all time. The back pocket does not really make sense to me since it’s supposed to be a backpack and you are supposed to carry it on your back. I know it can be worn different ways but it would be very uncomfortable having your phone or the pocket rubbing against your back when you carry it. I love the padded back since it is so comfortable wearing it. I wish the strap was a little shorter to wear on the back but it’s not as long as people described it. I’ve been wearing it all the time and I hope you enjoy yours!
I have a one in one out policy. I was deciding between keeping this bag or the pochette metis in Empreinte. My life is super casual right now. Working from home for good and I went with this cute tiny bag. I don’t carry much, I have kiddos so this was the choice for me. I thought I would regret it, but as casual as I currently am and considering my outings right now are just errands, this wins.
I know a few people that add a chain to connect the top zip to the zip on the front pouch to make that front pocket easy to get in and out of. You just pull the chain.
Do u think this bag has an age limit? I’m in my mid 40s and wonder if it will still suit my in my 50s n beyond. I feel it sometimes gives off kids lunch bag and teen vibes. But I would love a functional handbag for all weather, theme parks, trail walks, travel. Let me know your thoughts. I finally see it’s not out of stock.
I have the Sorbonne backpack and it also has a smallish pocket in the front. I usually put handi-wipes or a Hand sanitizer. Soooo glad you’re loving your new PSM!! 💖 June

It’s an adorable backpack 🎒 functional and versatile . Great review . I thought about a pocket in the back, but for security reasons it’s best to keep the cel phone 📱in the main compartment. Plus a side pocket can get wonky as it ages and lose its structure .

Ive been noticing thats some bags top handle are more toward the back and some are placed more centered..i see yours is more towards the back. Some people been saying usa pieces make them towards the back. Hmmm🤔🤔

Thanks for the detailed video! I also recently added the Palm Springs mini (preloved and old 2019 model) and noticed the canvas on the bag is a lot stiffer and more textured than my speedy and pochettes. Maybe because it's a made in USA piece? Have you noticed a difference in your canvas?
If you decide to buy this bag, make sure you checkthe stitching and the way-the canvas has been cut. Mostb are now made in the US and t he print is really badly matched at the seams. Also, the stich line theory the back center of the bag tends to be wonky. Other than that, this is really very functional as surprisingly. The front pocket becomes useful to put extra masks, transportation cards, hand sanitizer, or anything you want to carry but would not necessarily need immediately. I also put my car key fob in it because I tend to use this as an everyday bag. Literally every store gets one in stock every week minimum. Try using an international LV site to find stock.
I just ordered mine last week and waiting for it to arrived. I was actually torn between the multi pochette and palm springs mini. Which one would you prefer?

Is the palm springs mini strap treated leather? Does anyone know if that bags strap is comfortable or not? Especially when wearing for 8 to 10 hrs a day xx

Hey Amber, I too love this bag. I bought it a month ago and returned it. I found it a somewhat bulky (it sticks out). Do you not find that annoying? ALSO, big question: I was worried about the crease on the flap. Your looks like it's creasing already when you pull the flap down. Do you see that? My concern is that it will be a wrinkle there, which from the video I can see the indention on yours and I worry it will crack in the folding area over time... any concern with that at all? Do you think it would permanently wrinkle or crack after a lot of use? Thank you for your help!
I got this bag in September of 2020 and it has been in repair since November 2020 as the leather tabs were peeling. LV just extended the repair time until March 2021. I’m pretty pissed about it and I’ll be trying to get a refund out of principle as LV’s quality, especially with the PSM, has just been awful as of late and this repair, for something so simple like a leather tab, is taking disgustingly long. I feel like LV stole $2K from me.
I went into LV a week ago to look at this bag again, and they had two. They both looked used and worn. the black leather on the bag was faded and peeling. They really looked awful. I love the bag but have concerns about this as well. for a $2000 bag, it should be pristine!
What’s the point of leaving this negative comment? There are tons of backpacks out there that have a pocket on the back to keep your valuables more safe.
