I feel ya. Only recently began to climb again. Some of it is broken mechanics. I am sick of someone switching in and getting 2 fast moves in the span it takes to do 1 (e.g. Greedent getting 2 bullet seeds very quickly). We’re in about the same elo range. I recommend D-Deoxys, Noctowl and Lugia (if you can). The double psychic, double flier aspect has actually helped me win a bit more lately. Decent number of fighters in the back, and leads weak to counter users

These special cups do be score volatile Fossil cup had me drop a total of 300+ rating as well, im still trying to redeem it

Rockruff is one of my favorite Pokemon so its great seeing Lycanroc in action! I actually run him using Crunch and Psychic Fangs - and absolutely No One is expecting Crunch. Catches a lot of people off guard.

Im having incredible difficulty with the game right now, im lagging, im missing fast moves, im getting screwed on everything because of this lag im having. So tired of gbl... if I lose, i wanna lose fair and square thats not much to ask for...

My worst experience was after winning games the game lagged out and after loging in again the battle counted as a loss... Happened 3 times today alone

@@MikeyPi Yep. During the Fossil Cup, I won a match, and it didn't get counted. Another time, also during the Fossil Cup, my opponent either lagged out or quit, so I finished it out, checked to see what match I was on for that set, and I was 1-1, where I should've been 2-0. It's ridiculous. And I'm not gonna lie, it actually makes me happy to see that other people are having the same issues.

Same. I’m currently on an 8 game losing streak from today, and about 6 of those losses are from lag. Winning lead with pretty much every match and still. I just stopped playing because it’s too much. I can’t handle the lag.

I'm doing great with Altaria lead and Araquanid ss, not sure who to use as closer? I think a counter user and I'm using Magmortar as extra defense vs walrein.

I would use Blaziken instead of Magmortar, better coverage against the meta and Walrein, but yes, another counter user could be solid

I have tried every team every content creator as posted for the retro cup and I’ve been absolutely destroyed every game. Worst start to a season I’ve ever had. Also it took me 15 charged TMs to get dragon claw on my mew only for me to start immediately getting hit with mudbois and talonflames and no surf to counter

im also using Lycanroc. but find that rock throw help in more or the same match up, than counter, special against flyers talon, charizard an altaria, but also do better against trevenant, venusaur an bugs.

and although it means less damage to the bulkier normals like Licky and Greedent, you don't lose super effective FM pressure on Walrein

Once you obtain a "rank" you keep that plaque but displays their ELO rating. They were over 2000 rating in a previous week.

Not going to gatekeep. I've gone up 500 ELO in 2 days. Not any better than I was before. For retro cup this is the best team: Walrein lead, Altaria safe, Nidoqueen close.

It's called retro because they removed steel dark and fairy, there was a time when those types were not in Pokemon. Hence retro.

I thought they were fixing pvp last season, this shits somehow worse than any season I’ve played. I hit legend the last two seasons and played a couple before that. This shit is god awful. They literally only hire people with ⬇️ syndrome
