Lydia Summons Beetlejuice 0:00/1:02 Lydia: Though I know I should be wary, Still I venture someplace scary. Ghostly haunting I turn loose, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, BEETLEJUICE!!! 0:12 - (Lydia Summons by Beetlejuice) Television series I is my favorite cartoons and anime this from a his Beetlejuice Animated Series (1989-1991) A young girl name is Lydia at just I Beetlejuice?!
Actually, I think I read somewhere that in this version of the lore, this is the official incantation for summoning Betelgeuse. It's just that saying his name is just a faster way of doing it. Like the Etrigan chant in DC Comics.
This clip takes me back to the 1990s...the Golden Age of Cartoons where Fox Kids, Cartoon Network, Disney's One Saturday Morning, and Kids WB reigned supreme.
I remember that on Fox kids (yes fox not abc) that Lydia's summon played before the intro credits. Man I miss that, I watched this every morning before school and just yesterday got the complete series from Walmart
Just a friendly reminder, Lydia (in the cartoon) is played by the same actress who played Loonette from big comfy couch. So how do you go from a Gothic young girl who hangs out with a ghost (with the most), to a child like clown who plays on a couch?
Almost forgot about that gibberish at the end; it had the Batman "Chacarron Macarron" meme beat by years. Anyway, folks look back and go "I don't remember the animation being this good", because this was essentially the only time it was, along with the two openings. I always suspected the key animation here was done in-house, at Nelvana's own studio in Canada.
They need to do a Beetlejuice vs The Mask Deathma.... well, it wouldn't be a death match since the latter is already, y'know..dead. Instead, how 'bout..hmm..a battle of the worst puns? 😁
That's a real great animated show based on the Tim Burton movie of the same name. Years later in 1995, there was The Mask, based on both the Dark Horse comic and the Jim Carrey movie of the same name.
Se nota que se gastaron el presupuesto de varios capítulos aquí o era el intro descartado o alguna especie de animación prueba para comprar la serie ante los productores 🤔
