The way Lydia looked at Macca after saying that numbers get passed on, and Macca realised straight away and started crying and Macca making that speech about Lydia. Lydia passing the song on to Ellie for her to continue. It’s so sad to see her go 💚💛🥹

lydia williams was an out standing goalie and she also had the heart to give the number 1 to mackenzie arnold i will miss lydia williams hopefully she still watches the matildas too see how good the others have come who joined after you did and i hope she enjoys the next chapter of her life lydia williams i hope her the best of luck

I am going to miss Lydia soooo much, I have been following lyds for many years now and this brought way to many tears to my eyes. Lyds have left a huge legacy behind and will never be forgotten! We love you Lyds!!!

Without Sam Kerr it will be a steep hill to climb but i hope the Tillies at least get to olympic semifinal as that will determine if Tony gets a contract extension. He is probably thinking they won't. I don't think he wants to leave Australia per se, unless there's a coaching position closer to Sweden but Wales, Norway, Switzerland has been taken up. But Tony staying after the olympics rides on the Tillies, not his choice. He's good for the team spirit and cohesion through wins or losses. I hope he stays after olympics.
